Lunch and Learn - Omar was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and how the various dishes relate/connect to the history. He was also a wealth of knowledge on architecture and other sites and restaurants we should experience.

Food Tour with Sam - Sam was an excellent tour guide for this experience! He has the perfect personality for this type of tour: a great sense of humor and knowledge! He intertwined his extensive SMA/Mexican history with each food stop. He managed our diverse group ranging from 7 years old to 75 with ease.

Great history of events and food! - Omar was the BEST! Great overview of history of San Miguel interwoven with the influence of food through the centuries. His narrative was easy to follow and well-paced. We had plenty of time to eat and listen to him weave his stories. The food/restaurants were all top quality! He was very focused on the group’s needs. Wish we did this at the beginning of our stay instead of on our last day!

Choice of food bit disappointing - Elisa, the guide was terrific. This was the 4th food tour I've taken in SMA. I feel that the second and third food stops were somewhat redundant. Both served rolled up tortillas with a different sauce at each place. The choice of a different dish would have shown the diversity of Mexican food....a taco or filled enchilada perhaps. I was disappointed about the choice of courses.
