Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe - It was a long trek to see the pyramids and we had some physically challenged friends who could not do the walking tour with us because of the uneven steps, however, our tour guide and driver made sure that they were comfortable while waiting for us in the van. Shout out to Gerardo and Luis (our driver for the day), they made sure that our 2 friends were looked after and that they at least saw the pyramids from another angle. We enjoyed our complementary paletas. Gerardo spoke good English and gave us a good informative historical background of the site. I highly recommend Estigo tours for anyone wanting to visit Mexico City and do a customized tour. Gonzalo was helpful in helping us plan the perfect itinerary. We were able to see a lot more of Mexico City and the beautiful churches we wouldn't even have gotten to see if not for his suggestions. Gerardo went above and beyond with accommodating our requests. We got to visit and pay homage to Our Lady of Guadalupe (not just once but three times during this pilgrimage ), which has been a long dream for me especially as it is the Jubilee year!

PRIVATE TOUR w Ernesto WAS AWESOME! - A MUST! If you can swing a private tour, it really makes all the difference to have someone give context to what you’re looking at. Our guide Ernesto picked us up (checked in the morning of, arrived ten minutes early and was happy to wait) and was super knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. We originally said we could only spend two hours but it was so fascinating we stayed for 3. Ernesto was eager to share his other recommendations for food and activities in the city, dropped us off at our lunch plans later on, and sent us pictures he took afterwards. He’s a professional tour guide 100% This company is incredibly thoughtful, we got a reminder email the day before and they were totally willing to organize based on our specific requests. I know some people don’t love tours, I’ve been to the Pyrimids before on my own with an audio tour and uber and this was hands down worth it and a more meaningful experience. Again, if it’s private you can go at your own pace which is awesome. As everyone says, the earlier the better to arrive as it’s hot and crowded but getting there at 9/9:30 and leaving around noon was enough time to see everything but not the museum- that would’ve been another 30min items at least. Bring a water bottle and sun gear- just like they tell you to! Thank you thank you, will highly recommend!

Awesome experience, fun, knowledgeable guide. - Amazing experience. Tour guide was VERY knowledgeable, professional and fun. The private tours may be a little more expensive than a traditional group tour, but it is certainly worth the extra expense. You go at your own pace and spend more or less time at each site.

Mexico City: Food, Faith & Culture - We hired Estigo Tours to design for our group of 11 and Gonzalo completely understood the assignment. We had the same amazing guide, Gerardo, the whole time which really gave the tours continuity. We saw the usual sights and some wonderful off the beaten path adventures, and our guide really brought the museums and experiences to life. He also gave us great tips and authentic recommendations of restaurants and activities we all enjoyed. The office was so attentive and communicated well before and throughout our visit. We even had a last minute extra traveler join our group and they were so helpful with the change. As a travel agent, I highly recommend this tour group and will be using their services again soon 🇲🇽

All around great experience. - My sister and I took a private day trip with Yunuen to the Pyramids and the Basilica. It was a perfect day! Yunuen’s knowledge of Mexican history was fantastic and he enthusiastically shared his knowledge with us. We stopped at a great place for lunch near the pyramids and then drove to the Basilica and spent quality time there. It was an excellent day trip from Mexico City. I highly recommend Estigo tours. They are well organized and very reasonable. They even sent me the names of various restaurants to try in my area. We will definitely use them again.

Houston visits Mexico City - A group of 12 worked with Gonzalo to customize our visit to Mexico City. Although our focus was a pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we wanted to see as much of Mexico City as possible. Estigo Tours more than delivered on their service.
