P.R through Food - Loved the food tour! Everything we ate was so good. We got to try rice and beans with pork, empanadas, mofongo, and tasty flan. With every meal we received a beautiful history explanation and got to understand Puerto Rico much better. For anyone interested in history, food and amazing views. I recommend this food tour. Come hungry.

A San Juan Must! - Elliot was the best tour guide! We happened to be the only ones booked so we had a “private” food tour. Super fun, 4 stops, 3 drinks and some filling bites. We were going to get dinner afterwards but we were stuffed! Despite being a small group, Elliot made us feel as though we had already been friends and was super informative. A must for those wanting to experience different placed in San Juan and learn some history!

Nico is the best! - Nico was extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. I’ve been on food tours before, but this one was different! I enjoyed the education about the events that took place on the island and the rich history! I was drawn in from start to finish and learned so much, as well as had some delicious food! Amazing tour!

Food tour extraordinaire - Lorna, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and entertaining. She was so funny and engaging. A true local celebrity! We stopped at 4 different restaurants and sampled some of the best food we had all trip. Choco Cortes was our first stop where we tried croquettes with 3 different types of chocolate sauce and the best part of that stop was the chocolate martini. At Deaverdura, we dined on a traditional dish of pork, rice, and beans with flavorful sauces and a juice (option to add rum). Next stop, Taberna Lupulo, which was a beer tavern with a great vibe and an even better Cuban sandwich. Not to miss-the Beermosa. So refreshing and delicious. Last stop, sampled the mofongo at Rincon Iberico. Even though we were so stuffed, the night ended with the most perfect flan de cafe, coffee flan. Was it the most delicious dessert I've ever had? Possibly. I ate the entire thing even though it seemed like there was no room in my stomach for any more food. Food tours are one of my favorite ways to explore the city and learn some history, and this was one of the best tours around.

Geat food. histroy, and drinks. An absolute must for anyone spending time in Old San Juan. - The food stops were all delicious, fresh, and incredibly filling by the end of the tour. We ended up revisiting 3 of the 4 we went to the next day so that we could explore more of the menu or get a bigger portion of the food we sampled. We also went to other places that our guide recommended outside the tour, and thoroughly enjoyed them. Gia was our tour guide and her ability to stay on schedule, help everyone on the tour and recite historical facts about all of the places and sites we visited were 10/10. Highly recommend the food tour for anyone who is looking for good food & drinks, or looking to experience more of San Juan and historical and cultural significance of Puerto Rico. We also did the sunset tour, and being able to see it set over the fort on the edge of the island was a great way to end the tour before visiting our last delicious food/drink spot.

An excellent tour with fabulous food! - I went on this Old San Juan Walking Food Tour with my husband and three teens. We did have some trouble finding our guide when the tour was starting because the Plaza de Armas is being renovated. Once we finally found the group, it was an incredibly informative and enjoyable tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and explained so much about the history of San Juan and Puerto Rico. We loved learning about the culture and the four food stops were all fantastic. My teens tend to be picky eaters, but even they enjoyed just about everything we tried. We saw quite a bit around OSJ and I was able to take some great pictures along the way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!
