Make this the first thing on your itinerary! - Incredible way to experience Old San Juan! Lorna was funny and knowledgeable and made it an excellent experience in spite of the warm weather! Cannot recommend this tour enough, especially at the start of a trip to Old San Juan.

Wiki Pablo from spoon has great historical stories to share and make San Juan and food come to life - Wiki Pablo was amazing. He is passionate about the history and culture of San Juan, Puerto Rico, coffee and food. He was a dynamic tour guide and excited to answer questions. He was great at adapting our tour to our questions and avoiding rain showers. He even gave up his umbrella to other guests with a genuine smile. . Highly recommend wiki Pablo from spoon

Pablo is PR gem - I can't say enough good things about Pablo and this tour. There is really is no question about food and the history of Puerto Rico that he can't answer. He's also animated and hilarious and is super-careful to keep us in the shade. One of the best tours I've ever done.

A Terrific Experience that we’d definitely do over - It was an exceptional tour thanks to our tour guide. The restaurants were terrific but Gia added the most value with her narratives about San Juan. Turns out she has a degree in history and is also an accomplished pianist which is saying a lot for someone in her early 20’s. Paired with enthusiasm and a deep sense of pride for her country, she did a super job of sharing the history of San Juan. Gia is also a self-proclaimed footy, so she knew the ins & out of the restaurants we visited, all carefully selected to give us a true taste of the city. Speaking of food, all 4 restaurants were exceptional and we had a difficult time choosing the best, although I opted for gnocchi. If you’re stopping in San Juan, definitely check this small but efficiently run company. And, ask for Gia.

Best way to introduce Viejo San Juan! - Elliot was a fantastic guide! He had wonderful knowledge, was very personable and made the experience individual to everyone in the group. The food was excellent and more than sufficient - we needed to walk after the tour to work off all the food we ate, and the beverages were fantastic!

Good food, great tour, fantastic guide - This was a great way to start my day in Old San Juan - Pablo is an exceptional guide who knows so much and loves sharing the history of his island and its food. There is poetry in the way he talks about it. I’m a vegetarian and there weren’t any hiccups in getting food (Puerto Rican food is pretty meat heavy). Highly recommended

Good tour, with caveat - Nice tour - Lorna our guide was very good. Could have used more food stops and less walking, though - note that we were promised five food stops and only got 3 1/2 (the 1/2 being a short walk up the block to get a gelato for desert after stop 3). We did find the food at our longest stop, stop 2 - for lunch - good enough that we revisited the restaurant for dinner the next day, so I rated the tour a 4.
