Great first time rapids experience! - Excellent tour, Josep was awesome, so attentive to our needs and funny during the trip. The rapids are very fun and exciting and the crew captured our tgood time with photos that we cherish so much.

My first experience doing Rafting - I had never done this sport so I was a little nervous but the guides behaved so well and generated so much confidence that I enjoyed the whole tour. Thank you to Gabriel (our guide) for his patience and for doing everything possible so that we did not fall into the water haha to Mr. Jhon el (driver of the vans) thank you for your charisma and for every story that led us to want to return to these beautiful lands.

Must do in Costa Rica - This is a must if you are visiting Costa Rica.... We had a half day available for an adventure and we found this one.... First time for us and it was amazing. John was the shuttle guy, he was so knowledge and friendly, made the 2 hours there much quicker and enjoyable.... Our rafting expert and guide was Gabriel and he had the patience and understanding to explain what the experience was going to be about.... The whole hour and a half was full of adrenaline rush and good laughs. Pictures taken by them are a must and at a good price. At the end of all we had a delicious meal provided by them and then back to San Jose .... Thanks guys !!!!

Absolutely incredible experience of whitewater rafting! - I can not state how amazing the Whitewater rafting experience was. The team managed to take me and my partner on a tour and we had the absolute best time in the entire trip. The whole team took our safety incredibly seriously and helped guide us through some amazing white water rafting experiences. This ended up being the highlight of our trip and we will definitely do it again. Thank you to the whole team - we loved our experience!

Exceptional experience! Fun rafting and perfect transfer. - We ended up getting a private tour for this one which was nice. We got a medium size raft (for 6 ppl but it was just us two and the instructor). David was a great instructor and guide. He taught us everything we needed to know about how to raft safely and then in the water he helped us maneuver through the river for the entire experience (~2 hours). It was super fun to go through those level 3 white water sections in the river. I loved seeing all the birds, river otter and other animals too. We even spotted two sloths on the road when we drove to the river. The fruit break was nice too. Pineapple and watermelon were so good. I also got to jump into the river and swim which was always fun. The food at the end was great. Also the transfer from San Jose to La Fortuna worked perfectly. We also bought our optional action pictures which were taken during the rafting. They were all nice and great souvenirs. Five star experience through and through.

Awesome rafting experience! - Everything went perfectly. The pick up was right on time. It was just the two of us the whole trip. The rafting part was amazing! The river was nice, perfect temperature. The level 2-3 was exactly that, not too crazy but still thrilling and fun. David (our raft instructor/guide) was awesome! He kept us safe and knew all the tips and tricks. The fruit break was good! The fruit was yummy and the swimming was fun. Lunch was great as well. I would 100% do it again.

Guides were amazing!! Had the best time! - This was very fun experience! Gabriel was funny and put us at ease when we went into the river! He allowed my husbamd, and 10 and 15 year old to "ride the bull"! And we got to jump off of a cliff into the water! I would suggest this tour to anyone! My kids had a blast, and yours will too! The lunch afterwards was perfect and delicious!

Shoutout to our driver John! - I visited Costa Rica with two of my girlfriends and parts of our tour were booked through Desafio. Our driver from San Jose to La Fortuna and back was John and all three of us have nothing but good things to say about John! He was so knowledgeable about the country and gave us a lot of fun facts during the drive. We felt 100% safe and comfortable with him, from leaving our valuables in his van to trusting his driving through a crazy rainstorm. If we ever come back to Costa Rica and need a driver, we would not hesitate to ask for John. We also did the Saraquipi river rafting tour through Desafio and had a blast!! The arroz con pollo lunch following our rafting trip was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica as well.

Great time - Had a wonderful time. Felt very safe with Emilio driving us to get to La Fortuna, and Al and Brian taling us whote water rafting en route. Delicious meal at the end. on Dec 18th.
