La Casita del Café TRES GENERACIONES COFFEE PLANTATION- CAFÉ MEDIO SOL/MEDIA LUNA. - Poas Volcano - We will travel up to the Poás Volcano, which is one of the seven current active volcanoes in Costa Rica! After we reach the impressive main crater, we will then hike to Botos Lagoon and follow the trails around the volcano to explore nature.
- La Paz Waterfall Gardens - We will visit the renowned La Paz Waterfall Gardens Natural Park, one of the most stunning parks in Costa Rica. On our visit we will see over 100 rescued animal species including sloths, jaguars, toucans, hummingbirds and many more. It is an experience which our guests often say is the highlight of their trip! We will then have a buffet lunch with over 35 food options to cater to all tastes. Finally, we will visit the five famous La Paz waterfalls, offering picturesque photo opportunities in different locations.

For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only seven active volcanoes in the country. We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is my favourite trip in the San Jose area, providing you with a great combination of picturesque scenery and the chance to get up close to many species found in Costa Rica.

Loved it - Absolutely loved this experience. They explained the whole coffee process and let us try different tastes. The nature views are amazing

Amazing day - Amazing day! From the coffee plantation, volcano, & the animal sanctuary/waterfall park. Highlight was definitely the last stop. The grounds are well taken care of & amazing sights. Be prepared for rain. A must do on any trip to Costa Rica

Very nice experience - Nice and professional guides. It was an easy way to explore the area of the Waterfalls and see the vulcano. Well organised, without having the feeling you’re being pushed to the next attraction

WynnCuzs102024gs - The probability of not seeing the volcano crater is very real because of the heavy cloud coverage, but the experience is spectacular! You can take in the oxygen-rich jungle breeze and fill your lungs with fresh air! The several steps and path to the waterfalls is worth its view and the culmination of the majestic view and roaring water.
Jaguar, puma, sloths, monkeys, birds and butterflies, along with the tiny frogs and large birds satisfy your desire to see the exotic and the common of Costa Rica's native animals and insects.
A taste of the coffee in Dokas after the explanation of the growth of different beans is a treat for those who enjoy a cup of coffee!
A must adventure!

Olman was amazing.... - Olman was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and patient. Made the trip that much more enjoyable. Got to see and experience so much more then just wondering around on our own. Highly recommend.

An Amazing Day Out! - This was a fantastic and informative trip all about the area surrounding of San Jose. We started by visiting a coffee factory where Olman showed us where the coffee beans grew. Following this, we have a delicious cup of coffee before heading to the volcano. While we did not see the volcano, due to cloud cover, we still had a lovely time. The highlight of the day was visiting the animal sanctuary at La Paz. We got to see lots of amazing rescue animals then stunning waterfalls. A truly tremendous day - thank you Olman, we would recommend to anyone!

Amazing Tour - Olmar was the best tour guide ever had an incredible time!!! The clouds covered the volcano and lagoon so we didn’t get to see that part but we had a great hike (we opted to do the whole thing!) and everything else was amazing especially the waterfall gardens and the animal exhibits! Lunch was fantastic as well!

A must see tour if you haven't left San Jose and want a taste of nature! - This day trip is fantastic!! You get to go outside of San Jose and get to see some of the nature that is close to the city. The coffee plantation was beautiful and you can later go to the gift show and shop some items. Then the volcano, which was a good walk but nothing heavy - hopefully the weather will be good so that the crater is visible. Then, the visit to the waterfalls which was incredible - a great visit to the animal sanctuary and then a buffet lunch before heading to the waterfall. Everything is very well organized and the tour guides are very professional and knowledgeable. Very recommended!!
