During the way to the Iral Cloud Forest you will be able to appreciate the Costa Rican countryside of Coronado, a canton famous for its dairy production and its beautiful views of the capital.
Upon arriving at Iral, we will welcome you with a short introductory talk about the place and its routes. The maps will be downloaded and the walks will be recommended depending on the level you want: beginners, family, kid friendly or intermediate – advanced.
Our property has abundant flora and fauna and the routes pass through rivers and waterfalls.
To finish the mountain experience, we will wait for you in our scenic restaurant with a delicious option of dishes to choose from (if you select the package with food).

With more than 50km (31 miles) of mountain trails in the heart of the Cloud Forest, we are the best place in Costa Rica for hiking for all levels. Our self-guided trails will take you through green meadows, dense forests, rivers, waterfalls and unparalleled views of the central valley to the coast. You will be able to enjoy numerous species of high altitude birds such as the quetzal, as well as walk in the habitat of different mammals that inhabit our forests, such as the puma, tapir, mountain goat, among others. Our abundant vegetation will dazzle you and with luck you will have the experience of walking among the clouds. All this along with the benefits of physical activity that a mountain hike provides. We are located in the mountains of Coronado, San José, just 50 minutes from the center of the capital. On our property of 1600 hectares and 2,200m of elevation, dairy production and sustainable tourism coexist in balance.
