Tour of downtown San Jose - Highly recommend doing the tour to get the inside San Jose experience from a local who knows the city and the history and fun facts. We really enjoyed our tour and learned so much about the city and the people. Thank you Pablo!

A Don't-Miss Tour in San Jose with Alejandro - Don't miss out on booking this one! Alejandro (Alex) was a great guide! Very friendly, knowledgable about the area and history and completely engaging throughout the tour. Answered all of our questions and helped us to learn about the history of San Jose and Costa Rica, the architecture, the roles of the banks and the church in developing the city as well as new plans. We throoughly enjoyed the time we spend with Alex!

Fun and Fantastic San Jose City and Marketplace Tour with Pablo - We started at the National Theater and ate our way to and through Central Market! Delicioso! Stops along the way included an artisanal chocolate shop, and a fabulous coffee shop.

Wonderful tour and tour guide - Pablo was our guide and he was so informative and a lot of fun. He took us to great chocolate and coffee places where we tasted and learned about both. We then went to the Central Market and thank goodness we had Pablo to show us around or we would have been lost! He knew alot about all the different products for sale and we got to eat mango salsa and fresh juices, yummy stuff. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Pablo

Great tour and great guide! - Pablo was a delightful guide. He took us to a wonderful coffee shop and chocolate shop. We went to the central market and Pablo took us around to many of the shops and talked about the culture and history of many of the products. We also tried the fresh fruit juices and mango salsa, delicious! Pablo was very informative, fun and funny. Highly recommend Pablo and this tour👍

Perfect Walking Tour of San Jose - Amaral was an incredible tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable about his city’s history, a mastery of English, great sense of humor, and a gifted story-teller. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend a tour with him as your guide!

Loved It! - I originally booked the "San Jose City & Central Market with Local Food" tour expecting to join a group, but it turned into a private tour with just me and the guide, Pablo. Pablo was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. Walking through downtown San Jose with Pablo felt like exploring the city with a friend who shared meaningful insights about its history, culture, cuisine, and the pride of Costa Rica's people. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring the city on foot, taking in the sights, sampling delicious local food, and gaining a deeper understanding of San Jose’s rich history.

Everything you need in one tour! - I was in San José with a large group of 22 and we wanted to see the highlights of the city. This tour was excellent and let us see everything. We even stopped to get fresh fruit along the way. The tour guide was great at telling a story for everything and our group was interested the whole time. Definitely recommend this if you are just getting to San Jose and want to see the whole city. The central market is especially amazing!!

Loved the tour, but solo traveler advice - I'm not sure how to rate this. The tour was great - but booking it through Trip Advisor didn't go well. The middle-person gave me the wrong start time and the interface only allows you to book for two people and I was traveling solo. I booked/paid for two people our of fear that I wouldn't be able to do the tour otherwise (I'd just had another tour operator cancel an excursion after no one else booked). On the tour I learned that others were able to book solo via the "Get Your Guide" site - though the price was slightly higher per person. The tour itself was fantastic. This was my fourth trip to Costa Rica and I wish I'd taken this tour on my first trip. I learned so much and have a much greater appreciation for San Jose.
