First-time tourist to Costa Rica. - Our host was amazing and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 would recommend. It was a bit rainy, but we did not mind since we picked the rainy season to come. The theater stop i think was my favorite and hope to visit it when we return. And I hope his (our host) music career takes off :) !!

Wonderful Ambassador for San Jose' - This was a fantastic way to learn a little about the culture of Costa Rica and especially San Jose'. Our guide Oscar was witty, knowledgeable, and one could tell he absolutely loves his country. The cafe' and the food was fresh and delicious. So glad I took this tour, it was great!

Memorable introduction to the sights and local food of San Jose - I cannot believe how much we saw of the city-San Jose-in such a short space of time. There followed a coffee tasting, a cocktail making class and tasting and several courses of locally prepared food with drinks. Excellent value for money. The guide-Angel-presided over the event. He was very knowledgable and experienced

Great tour and excellent value - The food and drinks were excellent, worth the total cost of the tour alone, and Angel, the guide, was very fun and informative. Great way to spend an evening

Rain, no pain...... - Angel, our guide, was an angel to be with. So knowlegeable, considerate, and talented. It rained the whole time but didn't dampen our spirits. The walking tour was great, and the cocktail "class" so much fun. Dinner was terrific...like eating with family. The other members of the tour were great to get to know, and Angel was our tour guide, mixologist professor and waiter. We couldn't recommend this tour more highly. Just do it!!

Best Rainy Night!!! - Despite the rainy night we had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide Angel was just that....seeing to all our needs, making sure everyone was included and going from well-informed guide, to mixologist supreme to waiter for a delicious home-cooked dinner. We were with fun people, had great drinks and food, and got a perfect overview of the city and its culture. Don't miss this great opportunity!

A Gem Of An Experience - So how did I miss COCKTAIL CLASS in that title? What a delightful “surprise” to my solo evening with the best guide and super compatible travel mates. Culture, fun and great opportunity to know San Jose and Costa Rica - fine example of Pura Vida incarnate

Great Walking Tour followed by Fabulous Dinner - This tour was fun with our tour guide, Andrea. We walked through downtown, which was extremely busy because it was payday! Everyone was cashing their checks and shopping. Andrea offered insights to various sites: park, government center, a couple statues. We stopped at Mr. Sloth Coffee Shop where she engaged my teenage nephews to help her brew freshly ground coffee to make a special drink! Our final stop was a private dinner prepared by an upcoming chef: we had the freshest and best ever sangria, bread, rice (of course), local veggies and a chicken dish, followed by scrumptious dessert. I would highly recommend this tour....and ask for Andrea!
