This excursion will offer you a half day of adventure and learning about our beautiful Costa Rica, we will start the day enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast and then we will take a coffee tour through an authentic plantation with coffee and chocolate tasting.
Then we will visit the Poás Volcano where you can take a short walk to the crater to see its beautiful lagoon, of course taking into account that your sighting depends on the natural climatic conditions of the area. Along the way our guide will give you important information about the forest and the Volcano.

We had a great time. We will definitely recommend it. - Hugo our guide at the Dika Coffee Plantation was great! He has a lot of humor and his way of guiding was very entertaining from the start to the end. Poas crater lake and lagoon were the cherry on top

Impressive journey - First of all, the tour guide was generally super professional, he handled the information in a good way, he was always concerned with the tourists, the tour is impressive although the stay at the volcano is only 20 minutes for health reasons, it was quite nice, showed a little bit of the volcano

An Active Volcano - I liked the route even though it was very cloudy to be able to see the volcano well. But hence the Poas Strawberries super recommended. The guide, very knowledgeable about the history and other information about Costa Rica. I would definitely return and hopefully be able to see it well 🌋🥺 The Alsalcia farm for a good coffee 👌

Excellent half day tour !!! - This the only volcano where you can see the crater bottom and sulfur gad coming out. The pickup and drop off was smooth. The tour guide was knowledgable and the driver was very good too! Will take this tour again through Tripadvisor- Hassle free booking and communication

The volcano excursion destination fully met expectations - coffee farm just a relaxation point. - The trip was well organized with lots of explanations about the surroundings, nature and the special features to be observed during the trips to the observation platform. The view of the crater was very good, the clouds of smoke only partially obscured the crater center. The safety precautions were impressive.
The stop at the coffee farm was more of a break measure, as no explanations were offered by the farm.

Could be better - Was nothing I expected, very short trip in my opinion and they took us to a restaurant of their choice which was pricey. Just be aware

Left completely in the dark - The tour group messaged me the night before with a different departure time than what was stated on their listing. TripAdvisor’s customer service wasn’t able to confirm the departure time and since I saw the notification later that evening I was left completely in the dark. Horrible experience all around from both parties.
