Then we will visit the Poás Volcano where you can take a short walk to the crater to see its beautiful lagoon, of course taking into account that your sighting depends on the natural climatic conditions of the area. Along the way our guide will give you important information about the forest and the Volcano.

Highly recommend! - I definitely recommend this tour if you’re staying in San Jose. It’s a great way to see the volcanic crater, the waterfall, and so many local sites in one day. However, I would like to note, breakfast is NOT included in this tour, you must pay on your own. I didn’t take any stars away for they because it was a great experience, I just want future travelers to be prepared to spend no more than $10 per person on a nice local breakfast. Do go on this tour and enjoy, I recommend!

the guide was very... - the guide was very helpful and had great knowledge, explained lots of things about the volcano. The coffee tour was pleasant too. The waterfall is beautiful but it's just in the middle of a road. The activity itself was very easy. Just spend a lot of time in the van. It was a very nice trip, especially to see some activity of Poas.

Two Important sites to see when in San Jose! - An excellent trip even though the description is not exactly accurate. It does not include breakfast but, no matter, it was not expensive where we stopped before going to the Poas Volcano. That was extraordinary to see!
On the way to the Coffee Plantation, we also made a stop for a traditional lunch (also not included) in the mountains which was really good. Our guide, Marcella and driver, Victor, were excellent and made the trip fun with the other 18 people. I will caution that we were the first to be picked up at 5:15 AM and then we rode around picking up the rest of the group for over two and half hours. Perhaps the tour company could find another solution regarding pick-up and drop-off arrangements.

Excellent tour - I spent very nice, great coffee tasting and explanation of its productive process, great breakfast, rise to the volcano, which even covered by clouds offers beautiful observation of nature and visits the imposing waterfall of La Paz. The guide Arturo is excellent, friendly, well informed and well-humored.

Coffee aromas and water sounds - We couldn't go to the volcano. It was erupting. Beautiful Cafétal Doka and La Paz Waterfall. The loving guide and driver. Exquisite lunch in Strawberries

Worth a try but expected a little more - We couldn't go to Poas due to the eruption so the agency gave us another tour
option including coffee farm, waterfall, metal church...It was nice but we bought a tour with a coffee tasting, they took us to the Starbucks coffee farm and had no coffee tasting...it´s just a farm, they could have taken us to a costa rican farm, starbucks is everywhere...Waterfall is beautiful. Our tour guide was Maria Saenz, very nice and she explained many things to us. Driver Fernando is also very nice!

Visit trail - The place is nice, especially the path to the lagoon, it generates a very special atmosphere. The road to the volcano has many curves, you have to be careful with dizziness.

Dishonest - Agency canceled the Tour that I had paid in advance. Even after the agency insisted that the Tour was already confirmed on the eve of the tour, they warned me that they would not go to the Poas Volcano because it was closed for days.

Don't waste your time and money - There is not any breakfast included as the Viator advertisement says there is! Deceptive and a waste of money. Our guide spoke very little English and almost always in Spanish with a ton of driving and very few stops.

Extremely bad and waste of time . Charged money but no event and spent 8 hrs on car - Extremely bad . Arrogant guide and event did not happen but charged thr money ( volcano ) . I would say this is the worst experience with Viator
