Unbelizeable - Demas was our tour guide and he was amazing. It was just me and my wife too so we got lucky. Many people have said you can’t do ATM and Xunantunich in the same day but it’s very easy to do. If you’re in shape it’s no problem. The ATM cave was so cool and a must do experience.

Wow - This is an amazing trip. Our guides Hector and Demas were outstanding. The first part of the day was spent crossing the river 3 times in order to get to the cave where the fun and learning begins. Prepare to swim inside the cave and do some serious climbing to see some sites that could only be described as unbelievable. You have to do it to understand how unbelievable it actually is. Describing does not do it justice.

Great Tour of Western Belizean Sites. Wish we had more time to see the rest. - We were picked up by O'neil promptly, about five minutes before our scheduled time. He was very informative, friendly, and all around great to deal with. We got to the ATM Cave Site where Hector was our tour guide. Made sure we were completely safe with the river crossings, swimming, and rock climbing. He was able to answer all questions regarding both the geological and archaeological findings in the cave. This is a must see if you're in Belize, as I do not think you'll ever find an experience like anywhere else. Afterwards, a delicious BBQ lunch was served, and O'neil drove us to the Xunantunich and gave us an amazing tour of the Mayan site. Overall, our experience with Cayo Inland was great, and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Belize.

Great experience in the jungles of Belize! - We did three tours with Cayo Inland Expeditions and they catered to our every need. First, they were prompt and prepared and made sure we were prepared. Whether it was ziplining or cave tubing or exploring Mayan ruins or the underworld, we were with extremely knowledgeable and service-oriented guides. They provided a tasty and appropriate lunch every day even though my son has a huge number of food allergies. Their guides were well-trained in customer service and they really know their Mayan history. It's like having a history professor guide you through the ruins. Premium outfit! Thanks John Paul, Dimas and Oneal!

Perfect day! - We had limited time but wanted to make the most of it, so we booked the combo tour. Our guides got us to the cave before the crowds, served a delicious lunch picked up from locals along the way, and then took us to Xunantunich later in the day when almost everyone else was gone. Definitely recommend!

You can totally do this! - This tour is well worth it, but I wanted to share a review for anyone wonder “can I do this?” Everything I read talked about how physically taxing it is, and I think that might be keeping a lot of people from experiencing this amazing excursion! The 45 minute walk to the cave is just that - it is a leisurely walk along the river - basically no incline. Once in the cave, you do have to scramble up and over rocks and in some tight spaces, but as long as you don’t have actually mobility issues with legs/knees that would keep you from climbing stairs, let’s say, you can totally do this!!

Amazing Experience - The ATM cave was amazing. Our guide was Jam Jam and he was not only funny, but extremely knowledgeable about the history of the cave, and he made sure we saw every cool feature that there was to see. We were a bit concerned about the "danger" and "difficulty" that we saw on other posts, but in reality if you are remotely in good shape it is not difficult. Definitely wear closed toed shoes or sandals, and prepare to get wet! O'Neil was our guide for the Xunantunich Temple, and he also was very knowledgeable. He took his time to ensure we enjoyed the experience. Both sites were definitely worth it, and the guides get high recommendations from us!

Great adventure and great guides! - Quite the adventure! Hector and Demasse were our guides. Hector was great in his knowledge of Mayan history and giving instructions on how to navigate the bouldering. This is a tour better suited for people with good agility and are comfortable in water and small spaces. It is so worth it - but be ready for a good level of activity. Also you must wear shorts or bathing trunks- no swimming suits or speedos. Also no sunscreen (you’re in a cave, you’ll be fine). I loved every minute of our tour. We had a medical emergency during our tour (my sister dislocated her knee and required assistance for the last 3/4 of the way out). The guides all banded together to provide assistance to get her out safely and with as little discomfort as possible. You don’t want to know that but they knew what to do and we were so appreciative!

My journey into the cave and the ruins - This was amazing and shocking to me Keep in mind this is not for a beginner or someone scared of darkness or small spaces. This is caving or spelunking for me it was thrilling and exciting Guides Hector are very knowledgeable, nice , great story teller. I would do this again. The ruins amazing O’Neal great guide and story teller. They provide great food and lots of water because it is hot I fully recommend!!
