Caracol Tour - I did 2 tours with MayaWalk and this one was my favorite! My guide was Ed, and he showed us a great day at Caracol, learned and saw so much. Afterwards it was nice to cool off at the Rio Pools. I would highly recommend this tour! The ruins and views are breathtaking

Gear day out. - The road to caracol from San Ignacio is now very good. Only a small part still being tarmacked. The guide was excellent and patiently explained the history and what is and isn’t known about the various parts of the Mayan civilisation and also very knowledgeable and keen eyed regarding the wildlife. Very tasty lunch was packed with plenty to go round. Despite the improved road, the ruins were still relatively quiet.

Maya tour / waterfalls - The drive to the site of the tempels was great with lots of info about the history of Belize and fun facts. The guide (Jason the man!) was very nice and gave a lot of info/insights, the tempels were also great and the pools were very refreashing!

Nice trip! First you're gonna... - Nice trip! First you go to the archaeological site "Caracol". Here you get a lot of explanation and time to look around and take pictures. Then you go to Rio on Pools and we also did Big Rock Waterfall as the Rio Frio cave was not open for visitors. Our guide Jason let us decide a lot and gave us a lot of freedom (for example when and where we wanted to take our lunch, where and how long we wanted to swim etc). Very pleasant guide! Highly recommended.

Must-do for history buffs and nature lovers alike - This was our third Mayan ruin tour and I admit that I was worried that it would be one too many. However, I was happy to be wrong. The drive up to Caracol is winding and beautiful and we saw a couple of Toucans (which was exciting). Our guide, Edioni, was friendly and knowledgeable and made the history come alive. The lunch was delicious traditional Belizean food that we greatly enjoyed. The road to Rio Frio Caves was closed so he offered us the choice to hike back in (an hour each way) or to go swimming at the base of Big Rock Falls. Because I had researched the falls and learned that tourists really can’t get to the bottom (without local connections), we jumped at the chance. We did stop by to see Rio on Pool and it looks like a fun place to swim and hang out, but we didn’t actually get in (because of swimming at the waterfall). I would recommend this tour for anyone wishing to experience an incredible Mayan ruin while also getting to enjoy one of Belize’s natural wonders

Majestic Mayan Ruins - Excellent tour and customer service. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable as well as our driver. Lunch was delicious. The only downside was that the road to the Rio Frío Cave was closed so we couldn’t experience that. Overall though, my family and I enjoyed the tour.

Full day of enrichment, learning and Fun! Thank you Izzie and Driver - What a fun day, full of enrichment and fun. Izzie was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. We shared so much knowledge with us. Rio Frio Cave was interesting and worth the hour we spent their. Dont miss the swimming opportunity at Rio On Pools, especially if you are going there in the summer, it is very refreshing. Our guides watched over our stuff and we sat under the falls and got massaged by the falling water. Be careful stepping out there though, the rocks can be slippery. Im trying to remember the name of our driver because he was amazing as well. The one driver we had that contributed to the tour and add his local knowledge of the local plants, trees and birds. They talked to us, found out what we were interested in and really went the extra mile to take care of us. We had a great time. Thank you Izzie and driver, you guys made it a great day for us.

A wonderful excursion - We were very fortunate, only six other visitors that day - which translates into clear views, silence and peace. The work done by the archeologists in the past 20 years is extraordinary. The suite looks marvelous. Our guide was very good switching from history, to flora and fauna plus trying to entice tarantulas to leave their mud holes to say hello.
