Knowledgeable and patient tour guide - We really appreciated being able to schedule a private tour for our family. Our guide, Renata, was very gracious and patient with us even as we were running late due to delays in our arrival. She was very knowledgeable and shared some things we didn’t know about St. Pio, even though we already thought we knew a lot about the saint’s life.

Very personal and would definitely recommend it highly. A must. We saw everything in such detail and then went back after to have a good look around, knowing where to go. After, Renata gave us recommendations for restraunts - one of which we went to and it was the nicest meal we had during our 3 day stay. A guide deeply formed in the spirituality of Father Pio. - I recommend hiring a Spanish-speaking guide trained in the spiritual, because there is a great difference in going through it like this. The stories and stories told and witnessed by a person who lives the faith, is a wonderful experience and an important detail that they will never forget. These guides are knowledgeable about strong testimonies and even pray for the pilgrims who are coming to the shrine. It is advisable to book them in advance i.e. several months in advance because this 2025 is a Holy Year when there will be a large flow of pilgrims and groups requesting their company. With the guide you will be able to tour not only the Sanctuary of Padre Pio in San Giovani Rotondo but also, travel to Pietrelcina (birthplace of the father a few hours) or a closer visit to the Sanctuary of San Miguel Arcángel in the gargano mountain located about half an hour from San Giovanni Rotondo. She will be able to manage the reservation, if requested by the private transfer, or by the public bus that goes up to her. Each of these visits has a separate cost. To all those who need I can recommend who was my guide, a person deeply trained in the spirituality of Padre Pio. She lives in San Giovanni Rotondo. Write to me privately.

Viaje aniversario 26 - Renata, our guide, has a lot of historical and spiritual knowledge. It is a relaxed tour at a comfortable pace. She left us space, in our case, to appreciate and pray, and we couldn't miss the photos. We enjoyed it very much.

Awful experience - Never got to do the tour, our tour guide did not show up. It was our last day in San Giovanni Rotunda so we could not even reschedule.
