SFMOMA - Well Worth a Visit - There are some truly amazing exhibitions here. Very easy to get to and get around. Not expensive. Great Museum shop. Well worth a visit - both young and old will enjoy. We went mid week towards end of day - so it wasn’t overly crowded.

Wonderful - Easy to navigate, thoughtfully presented. Enjoyed the art and background information. Wonderful collection. The atmosphere was somewhat tainted by a garishly dressed woman who, against the rules, set up a tripod videoing herself looking at the art and talked into the phone while videoing the photos. Luckily she was called out by an observant security person.

Le MOMA San Francisco - The MOMA of San Francisco exhibits beautiful works for those who love contemporary and modern art. Beautiful photo galleries also. Easy access and a fairly reasonable entrance fee.

Asawa retrospective - I enjoyed the Asawa retrospective, especially the lithographs. Explored the other floors, was helpful to be able to charge my phone in the lounge. Wonderful gallery

Great museum - SFMOMA is a great museum and a must-visit for modern art lovers. The temporary exhibitions are always impressive and well-curated. You can easily spend anywhere from two hours to a full day exploring the galleries. The ticket price is $30, which feels reasonable for the experience. I loved it!

Great Photographic Exhibit! - Whenever we visit San Francisco we look forward to checking out the newest exhibitions as well as their permanent ones since it’s always such a joyous and intellectually stimulating experience. There is a fascinating photography exhibition: Around Group f.64: Legacies and Counterhistories in Bay Area Photography. The premise is that a few ( now) world renowned photographers met in 1932 and decided to focus their efgorts at mimicking painers by creating photographs that looked like great art. The exhibition ends in June. Check it out!

Good Museum for abstract lovers - Good museum for lovers of abstract expressionism and abstract art. The post WWII Germany exhibit was also interesting. I added on the Ruth Asawa exhibit and found it interesting and worth the additional charge. You can spend hours there. The 5th floor cafe was good. Get there before noon to avoid a line. The only part I found lacking was the gift shop that had more general and few museum specific items.

Interesting Art - My wife and I decided to go to this museum for the Amy Sherald exhibit. She is an amazing artist and her technique is very forward thinking in my view. Enjoyed all her paintings on display. The museum is quite large and has 6 floors encompassing many different artists and themes. I must admit I did not care for some but most I enjoyed. Had lunch at the restaurant on level one and it was good. Spent over 4 hours in total.
