Good tour, but needs improvements!! - We went with students and they enjoyed it. Affordable price. However, the stops were difficult to find and it was actually difficult to get off the bus if you weren't at a 'main' stop. However, there is definitely room for improvement regarding stops. Overall worth doing.

Best way to visit the city - Bought 2 day passes for san francisco hop on hop off bus tour today. We met jamaal at union square who was amazing. He was lovely and welcoming, so knowledgeable about the city and gave us great recommendations of where to go. He is a credit to the company and we're so glad we met him. Thanks Jamaal

Fun! - Great communication after we made our reservations. All drivers were excellent. Be sure to check your time when you “hop off” so that you have an idea when to return, i.e. 30 minute increments, to “hop on”. Use the upper deck when you can.

Hop on hop off bus tour. - The tour route was great. Some of the drivers were a little over the top and hard to understand, but overall the content was good. The stop timetable was convenient for the stops.

A Few Bus Problems - We boarded at Union Square. Staff did not seem to know what to do with our tickets on my phone. I don't think they were scanned. We had to change buses at Fisherman's Wharf and had to wait 20 minutes for the new bus to take off. When we departed Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point, the speaker system no longer worked so driver could not give us highlights. Driver Willie was great and did his best to explain some of the highlights to us when he could pull over and walk up top to tell us, but most of the time we were on our own. Our 2nd bus was extremely loud - much louder than our first bus. I'm guessing it had some mechanical problems in addition to the speaker system problems. We did appreciate all the highlights that were scheduled. All 20 are good choices. Just wish we could have had Willie be able to describe them to us. I take a HoHo bus in every single city I visit - all around the world. I always recommend this experience to friends but I think you need to sharpen up a bit.

Dissapointed in Deluxe tour - Terrible tour, didn’t follow schedule. Stopped at city bus stops not tour stops. Ceiling very low, you had to duck not to hit head to walk downstairs. Dropped off in street at pier 39 instead of at curb. Didn’t go into park just around perimeter. Very dissapointed, would not recommend.

Rude, late, and ignores scheduled stops. - Waste of time & money. Rude drivers with attitudes. Stops were ignored. We went by 3 before being told we must ask to stop.

Disappointed Ride in SF - We were disappointed. The bus didn't stop at all of the stops marked on the map. We particularly missed the 2 stops inside Golden Gate Park. The driver sometimes provided commentary and sometimes it was recorded. He didn't turn on the recording at the right time to cover what we were seeing. The recording needs to be updated--it has the wrong mayor.
