- Chinatown - Explore the oldest Chinese immigrant community in the United States, experiencing the vibrant street life and distinctive architecture. If time permits, take a stroll down Ross Alley and savor fresh treats at the Fortune Cookie Factory!
- Pacific Heights - Discover the opulent mansions and stunning bay views in the City’s most affluent neighborhood, including a drive along Billionaire’s Row.
- Palace of Fine Arts Theatre - Admire the Romanesque architecture of this monument from the 1915 Pan-American International Exposition, set around a tranquil pond.
- Golden Gate Bridge - Stop at one of the many excellent viewpoints around the Golden Gate Bridge, often the Civil War-era citadel at Fort Point. Crossing the bridge is an option if the weather is favorable.
- Haight-Ashbury - Pause for a quick lunch in the historic hub of the City’s counterculture, where modern street musicians, skaters, and artists follow in the footsteps of the hippies who made the neighborhood famous in the ‘60s.
- Tank Hill - Enjoy the view from near the geographical heart of the City. The vista includes the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, the downtown skyline, the Pacific Ocean, Mount Diablo, Sutro Tower, and more.
- Painted Ladies - Make a brief stop at Alamo Square Park to photograph the “Painted Ladies” Victorian homes with the SF Skyline as a backdrop.

Every morning, I create a unique four-hour journey tailored to the small group and the day’s events in the city. Our route is flexible - we’ll invariably visit iconic San Francisco landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks, and typically pass through neighborhoods like North Beach, Pacific Heights, Haight-Ashbury, Castro, and the Embarcadero.
We’ll also diverge from the conventional bus routes to potentially wander through the art-filled alleys of the Mission, visit the mosaic-filled stairways in the Sunset, experience the relaxed aura of the Presidio, marvel at our Beaux-Arts City Hall, view the renowned ‘Painted Ladies’ at Alamo Square, or go down the real most twisted street in San Francisco (not Lombard). Our exact itinerary depends on the most suited spots for each day.
Considering it’s an extensive morning, halfway through we’ll pause at a local market where the group can grab a quick meal and soak up the local scene.
We’ll wrap up in the region of Fisherman’s Wharf in the early afternoon. If you have different plans for the afternoon, we can determine a suitable location to conclude our tour.
