SF city sightseeing - This is a must do when in San Francisco as it is the best way to see most of the city. The audio we listened to was very interesting and educational and it was so easy to get on and off when you wanted to see and explore more. The tour is worth the transfer times and transport prices. Would definitely recommend to our family and friends. Thanks

A great tour but a careless driver - We really enjoyed this tour. We make a point of doing this company’s hop on/off tour in every city we visit and it never disappoints. We bought a one day ticket and we got to see the whole city in that time. The weather in San Francisco can be unpredictable and you’ll need a jacket if you want to sit on the top deck. Our only complaint is that the driver took little care when driving past low hanging tree branches. He would just announce there were trees upcoming and to be careful, but on two occasions even though we both put our heads right down we still got hit with branches. Why he couldn’t slow down or wait until he could move out further on the road to avoid the branches is beyond me.

Tedious journey - We were sold tickets by cruise ship terminal and told to wait along the road a bit and bus would come. We waited and eventually it arrived. (No bus stop signs anywhere to give you a clue where to get on or off which is unusual?) Bus quite shabby but driver friendly enough. No headsets just drivers commentary, which isn’t easy to understand in the wind! After just one stop, he pulled in and said I’m stopping here for 20 minutes … (Fisherman’s Wharf) you can all get off! Thankfully one of the guys in red at that stop told us to get off this bus and get on the one parked in front … so we all did! New driver (Will) left after 20 mins or so. (Again bus quite shabby.) But Will’s commentary was loud, completely over the top and not easy to understand! We’ve taken plenty of these tours around the world - all with commentary via earpieces which obviously overseas guests can utilise. I recorded a short section for our family back home to listen to, and they said they’d have got off rather than listen to him! Sorry Will but it definitely didn’t work for us!

There is a reason this tour is not in the top 10! - Booked accidentally as the rep was standing amongst the crowd for the hop on bus tour and we didn’t realise until we had bought tickets! There is a reason this tour is 14 and hop on off is number 1. Bus was old, uncomfortable and so noisy that you couldn’t hear the recorded guide. I would say that we did get to see the main areas of SF but for a major city tour it wasn’t what I expected.

No pick-up in San Francisco. Very poor service. - Rethink using this company. On 8/20, we waited 2 hours for a bus. We walked between Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 33 pick up points. Tried to connect with a person via chat. No response. No telephone number provided. Customer Service not helpful.

Go elsewhere - Don’t book with this company, told 10 minutes 3 x times, got a refund after an hour then the bus turned up later, I understand that things happen in traffic by bing lied too on multiple occasions is unacceptable. Note we where the lucky ones as we paid in cash and got a refund they refused refunds to people ho paid by card
