Fabulous San Francisco Architecture Walking g Tour. - Rick Evan’s architecture walking tour is excellent. Rick conducts his tour by showing and telling some of the landmark buildings in SF, especially the area around the Convention Center and the Salesforce Tower. However he also introduces one to the historically older brick buildings in old SF. He intermingles architectural aspects with historical context and provides insights about current city building/development controversies. He includes the amazing post modern CrownZellerbach building on Bush street as well as the incredible Salesforce, or Transbay, Transit Center with it rooftop garden, walkway. adjust fantastic. We enthusiastically recommend Rick Evan’s Architectural Walking Tour in San Francisco!

Rick gives a really... - Rick gives a really interesting and educational tour that I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the history of San Francisco and the architecture in it. He also seems very knowledgeable on all things San Francisco. As someone who has visited the city many times and is an architect, I still found it fascinating and learned a lot.

A wonderful tour of some of San Francisco's buildings - Simply fabulous!! Rick enthusiasm for San Francisco's architecture is contagious - you learn so much and see buildings in a totally new light. The tour focussed on some of the buildings in the financial district south of Market Street; the walking pace was easy; and the two and a half hours flew by. If you're interested in architecture and architectural history, take this tour!

A tour with an excellent takeaway - As an SF local, I learned so much more about my city. Rick does a fantastic job of guiding his participants through many aspects of both the physical architecture and history behind a certain building. Rick is very passionate about the history and has a fine attention to detail. He suggested one should view a building from several angles, and at different times of the day. That's something I'll always take with me now. I would love to take another tour with Rick.

Another excellent walk around with Rick - The second tour I’ve taken with Rick (some 8 years apart) and it was as good, if not better, than I remembered. This is a great way to use as an intro to being in the SF city area and really influences how you take in the city when walking around afterwards. Would recommend this tour to anyone who will listen - thoroughly enjoyable 😊

evolving perspective of SF - I am local to the Bay Area, and out of habit, end up in the same places in SF. The tour with Rick has stirred a renewed interest in me to rediscover the city. He uncovers a mix of past and current points of interest many of us would miss. Like clues on a scavenger hunt, he ties together all that makes SF unique, including its endearing quirks :-) I would recommend Rick's tour to anyone, especially locals who want to hear about their city from someone who continues to learn about SF's architecture and beyond.
