Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and he had a great voice for presentation which important! No one wants to listen to monotone for hours. He also was very accommodating and used clear communication. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the sites!

Avoid this tour. I took this Muir Woods/Sausalito Tour on 3/29/23 and the tour guide, Roman, was very rude to me. The meeting time was 8:30 a.m. in Union Square - I received a call at 8:22 a.m. from the tour company asking where I was. I notified them I was 2 blocks away. I arrived at the meeting point at 8:26 a.m. and the tour operator never introduced himself, but snapped at me, asking what I was there for. I told him about the tour and he asked me which vehicle I'm supposed to be in. He didn't like my answer (I told him I'd be comfortable riding in whichever vehicle they offer, but I suppose he wanted a specific vehicle type), and he then asked if he spoke with me this morning. It felt like an interrogation. I told him I spoke with someone from the tour company a few minutes ago, but wasn't sure it was him/the person didn't provide their name (the person I spoke with on the phone didn't sound like they had an accent, and Roman, as I later found out his name was 10 mins later, is German/has a German accent). He asked me sarcastically if I couldn't even tell who I'm speaking on the phone with. Anyways, when I mentioned having a partner he got upset about that too, and asked where my partner was. I told him my partner was literally standing right behind the transport van, holding a coffee he had gotten (he was maybe 10 feet away). Roman couldn't see him readily and got more upset, and kept saying his tour leaves at 8:30 a.m. (I looked at the time and it was 8:29 a.m., 3 minutes wasted with him interrogating me and being upset - I wished he would just let me in the van we stood in front of - the van door was open and others on the tour were watching this back and forth interaction, and 1 of the people also taking the tour later apologized to me that I was spoken to that way, however, she is just a participant like me and doesn't work for the tour company). Finally, Roman checked my name on the list at my prompting and let us on at exactly 8:30 a.m. We then went to Fisherman's Wharf to pick up more people who I think got confused about the meeting point, and he was super pleasant with them, introducing himself and asking their name, immediately allowing them in the van. The guy is either racist or was having a really bad morning. The tour felt really rushed - not enough time to really see Muir Woods or Sausalito well, and I got a weird vibe from Roman the entire day. Cannot recommend.
