The 8:30am tour departs from 488 Post St. (look for a black Mercedes sprinter van parked across the street) and ends at Pier 33.
The 12:50pm tour departs from Pier 33 and ends at Pier 33 or 488 Post St.

Even though the... - Even though the Government shut closed the park our tour guide went above and beyond to make up for it. She was very knowledgeable about the city and surrounding areas.

Muir Woods is a must-see! - Anja was a very knowledgeable and entertaining driver. We stopped at the parking area on the far side of the Golden Gate Bridge for photos. Muir Woods did not disappoint. The first long segment of the trail was relatively flat, and the park ranger offered us a wheelchair for my wife. We wandered down the main trail until we realized we were taking most of our 90 minutes' stop taking pictures, so we crossed Bridge 2 and took the parallel path back to Bridge 1 and the entrance. (Others in our group made it to Bridge 4 with plenty of time to spare.) Sausalito was charming. We browsed the small local art museum and enjoyed sitting in the park. Anna returned us to the waterfront in San Francisco in time for us to explore Pier 39 for dinner.

Professional and fun tour! - Had a great trip to Muir Woods! Our driver was very informational, helpful and made the trip upbeat and fun! The hike was beautiful and the stop for lunch was quaint.

The views from the van... - The views from the van are amazing. You won't be bored and there are no bad pictures. Our guide squeezed a short stop at the Palace of the Arts.

Beautiful Woods & Relaxing Sausalito Stop - Great tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and kept everyone engaged the whole time. Muir Woods itself was absolutely stunning, peaceful, quiet, and filled with incredible redwoods.
We had about an hour break for lunch in Sausalito, and I grabbed a burger from Hamburgers Seven Thirty Seven, then walked over to the park benches by the bay. Eating lunch while looking out over the water was such a relaxing and memorable part of the day.
The whole experience was well-paced and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Muir Woods trip - We had just enough time at Muir Woods, Saucilito & Golden Gate Bridge to get a taste of those areas. Driver had a good sense of humor & was accommodating. Van was my comfortable.

Good Tour but Un Happy Ending - The pros are the trip is a great way to get an introduction to the Muir Woods and the town of Sausalito. Your time in each location is only an hour. The guide Robert was informative and knowledgeable.
The con is that the listing says you will be dropped off at the pickup point. He said on the way back he was going to Pair 33. Suddenly he started taking people near their hotels. When we questioned him him he said he wasn’t going to Pier 33 and we should walk nine blocks to that location. We told him we were being picked by Lyft at Pier 33 and the couple behind us wanted to go back to Pier 33 because they wanted to go to Fishermans PWalf.. I have mobility issues and would not walk nine blocks. We canceled dinner plans because I did not want to pay two fairs for Lyft.
As a tour guide for the National Park Service I would never change the plans to suit my needs!
