Highly recommend this tour! - Our driver Danello made our trip! He was so informative and funny. The wineries were very nice and we ended up ordering some wine to ship to our home.

Delightful & informative!! - The tour was wonderful and so was our guide & bus driver Danilo! On the way to the wineries we stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge scenic stop for pictures (which we didn't expect!) Our guide told us a whole assortment of facts & features about San Francisco history & architecture all the way to the wineries...and he was not only interesting, but charming & funny. It was recommended to us to bring some snacks along so we brought cheese & crackers & fruit...and recommend others do the same! All-in-all, it was just delightful with my favorite winery being Madonna and our lovely host there (please excuse that I can't think of her name, maybe Teri?). A perfect day!

Wine-ing your way - Firstly, the driver/guide was excellent. Friendly, helpful, informative. The first vineyard, Roche was excellent. The greeter was first class: welcoming, fun, informative and his 2 assistants were equally good - attentive/friendly. Lovely setting and excellent wines. Cohn was also a lovely setting. Greeter was OK. Whereas, Madonna was disappointing. Scruffy, by comparison. The guide was bumbly and the wines weren't great. I was disappointed that we did not really do Napa Valley, as Madonna was on the fringe of Napa. We loved Sonoma. The square where we stopped for lunch, was atmospheric with lovely old buildings/museums and nice shops and places to eat. I would replace Madonna with a better winery, properly in Napa Valley...

I would book with a... - I would book with a larger group so you for sure have a bus with a bathroom. Our guide offered to stop for bathroom breaks, but we were with a group that wasn't as enthusiastic as we were so they were annoyed while we were stoked on the extra stops for different views of golden gate.

Fun day, lots of wine! - Entertaining and personable guide, Danilo. Interesting drive to the Napa valley across the gate bridge. 3 wineries visited and lots of wine drunk. Highlight was lovely Sanoma for lunch.

This tour was a great way... - This tour was a great way to experience California wine country. The driver was very knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about the tour. We visited Roche, Jacuzzi, and Madonna. Roche was great, lots of information and time for questions, with encouraged revisitings of our favorite wines. Jacuzzi's tour went a little too quickly, but the property was beautiful. Madonna was nice, but not a lot of new information was shared about the wine-making process. The lunch in Sonoma was a nice break to the day.

Our driver was great.... - Our driver was great. Informative and pleasant. We had to change our plans slightly to pick up another small group that had suffered a flat tire. We did it as quickly as possible and our guide got us back on track very quickly.

Okay - I appreciated the tour. When I was looking for one to go to, it felt like best value and I still think that's true for certain people. Here's why it's not for us: 1. We had 13 wines tasted across three wineries. By the end, I didn't really enjoy much of it. If you like that thing, though, this is for you. 2. Because it was advertised as Napa and Sonoma, I expected more time in Napa Valley. We went to one winery at the end of the tour that was small, although it had good muscat wine too. I feel like they definitely knew what they were doing, advertising it like that. So no, you don't spend too much time in Napa, but Sonoma is actually nice too. 3. Our tour guide seemed like a nice guy, but there was too much information shared; I don't believe most of them were relevant. I recommend limiting the trivia to meaningful ones and allowing tourists to sleep/rest in between stops. Lastly, the bus got into a ditch before our lunch, and they put us in groups to take an Uber to our trip. It's not bad per se, but it made for an interesting trip. So yeah, overall, not bad but also not amazing.

Not worth it. - The bus driver was seemed to just go through the motions. Didn’t know a lot of the area, wineries, geography or history. There was big bold sign asking for generous tipping of 20%. Sounds standard now-a-days. But just imagine. A family of three spends ~ $ 500 on this trip. So the tip would be $ 100. A bit too pricy for me. Only one winery, Jakuzzi was good. Good guide. Good presentation. Other two were marginal. Definitely bad presenters.
