Wonderful show with talent and heart! - I happened to see an ad for this show and took a chance on it for my birthday with my husband while we were in SF. I can’t say enough about how much I loved it. It satisfied my love of poetry, spoken word, dance and acrobatics. We sat in the mezzanine at the very end of the row closest to the stage. They actually called us that night to tell us to use those seats instead of the ones I’d picked because they felt they were even better seats. I don’t think there is really a bad seat in the house but we loved the mezzanine. The ONLY thing I would complained about is the food was ridiculously small. A $9 focaccia was TINY (maybe 3x2” size piece!) and the avocado toast was delicious but again tiny portions.) Otherwise a fun party vibe in the room. I loved it. Great talent!!!

Wonderful, our go-to night out activity with visitors - Such a special experience, this has become our go-to activity when friends and family come to visit! The show is a beautiful love letter to the city. It's hard to describe -- acrobatics, music, poetry, performance art, audience participation. There's something for everyone. The cast members all have multiple talents and do an amazing job every time. Can't recommend it enough. We've been 3 times already, and expect to go again next year when other family members come to town. We've sat in the orchestra twice and once on the stage -- no bad seats, each was a unique experience. And the venue itself is stunning -- plus has an incredible history. Do yourself a favor, go see Dear San Francisco!

A "Must See" for locals and visitors - Last night I took my family to see the "Home for the Holidays" show of Dear San Francisco. It was my 3rd time seeing the show, and it is always different and never disappoints! My 88 year old Dad loved it as much as my 20 year old kids. This show is such a great mix of history (poetry from beat generation is read during one of the acts), interactive fun, and exhilarating acrobatics. Make sure you see it at least once!

Don't miss this!! Dear San Francisco - I recommend you put this HIGH on your list for a unique San Francisco experience of aerial acrobatics, dynamic dance choreography, and fun audience inclusion!! The intimate theater (with huge historic significance) felt very special. Maybe 150? 200? seats total so you feel like you're hanging with a greater group of friends. Staff was engaging, clearly love what they do, and were quick to take orders/serve food as needed throughout the show. For those not familiar with the North Beach area in San Francisco, there are plenty of bustling restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc just a block away from the theater.

Impressive! I recommend it! - "Dear San Francisco" is a great show for all ages! We had 3 generations of family in our group. Everyone loved it. Such talented performers! Fun for locals and for visitors. Love being back in Club Fugazi. We made the afternoon of it - walking around North Beach, lunch at a local Italian restaurant (Piccolo Forno - yum!), and shopping at City Lights bookstore.

Best show in the Bay - One of the best shows I’ve ever seen! Energetic, incredible talent, and a full range of emotion. Food and service were excellent. I’ve been 5 times now, each time offers something new. I’ve gone with friends, solo, and family. Highly recommend

WOW! - My son and daughter in law have seen the show twice and highly recommended it. With such glowing reviews, I wasn’t sure it could live up to the hype. However, it exceeded all expectations and I was totally blown away. Even being jet lagged, it was so worthwhile. I can definitely understand the appeal of seeing the show more than once. Besides the performers being incredibly talented, the staff were all so friendly. Well done everyone!

Delightful evening - This cozy theater offers a full bar, a tempting menu, and a unique vibe that sets the stage for an engaging evening. I kicked things off with a dessert and a hot drink—both solid choices—and was delighted by the creative pre-show activity: writing a postcard to San Francisco. It was a thoughtful touch that instantly immersed me in the spirit of the show. "Dear San Francisco" brought an electrifying energy to the stage, with acrobatics and a lively connection between the performers and the audience. The intimate setting made their feats even more impressive, proving that big magic can happen in small spaces. With no intermission, the 90-minute performance flew by, keeping everyone enthralled from start to finish. While the audience was mostly adults, the kids in attendance were just as captivated. A lively choice for an evening out—consider attending this vibrant, high-energy tribute.

Show was cancelled - We were really looking forward to this show as it was the only evening event we had booked. Received an email the day before the show stating it was cancelled. Very disappointed.
