I had a few hours to... - I had a few hours to spare during my trip to San Diego, and I decided to take advantage of its proximity to Tijuana and take a tour there! I took the trolley from downtown San Diego and Andres was waiting for me outside the McDonalds alongside one other tour member (so we had an intimate two-person tour!). He walked us through to the border area, and explained how the process would be. He met us on the other side once we went through passport control and then he took us to meet his colleauge Tabitha! She took over from the tour and we got on a public bus/taxi to get to downtown Tijuana. We had a great time taking photos, talking about the culture and life in Tijuana, trying Tequila, Cajeta, and delicious tacos! It was the right choice for me to get to experience Tijuana with someone who knows the area. We had some free time to do souvenir shopping, and then Tabitha took us back to the border via public bus/taxi and then we walked across back to the San Diego trolley. I would highly recommend this trip for solo travelers who want to explore Tijuana and get a small taste of Mexico!

Awesome local tour of Tijuana - Marisol was an excellent local guide. She made the boarder crossing very easy. She showed us places we would have never found on our own. She also introduced us to local restaurant/shop owners that gave us an insiders view of local life in Tijuana.

Fun, informative, safe, wonderful experience - The Tour I had with Carlos was great I got to experience Tijuana more specifically downtown Tijuana in a very authentic way and Carlos was a proper tour guide that gave me a full breakdown of the history of Tijuana. It was a fun and safe tour and I would recommend it to all.

Tijuana Day Tour - Our tour guide Tiffany was 100% knowledgeable about Tijuana as she lives there. She was patient with all our questions and so personable. Tiffany felt like a friend to us!

Amazing experience! 10/10 would do again - Carlos was amazing and very knowledgeable! I was in good hands the whole tour and was able to explore Tijuana and learn lots.

Great day trip with kids - Marisol was terrific. My kids had specific items they wanted to get while shopping, she knew exactly where to get them. She was very sweet and accommodating.

Un Poquito de Mexico - The crossing border experience was amazing, undoubtly one of the best! I always wanted to experience what it would be like and with this walking tour it was safe, easy and very convenient. I Was escorted by the guide which meats you in San Diego side and then itroduces you to the other guide in Tijuana after you cross the border. The guide walks you through the points and explains to you a little about each place, you get to go through a market to experience native mexican artisan culture as well as the music and the food, not only that in the market there's a place where you get all kind of tequilas testing! And Unique experience! 👍💯‼️

I enjoyed the experience.... - I enjoyed the experience. Meeting point was ideal to cross the border. Plenty of partying available if you are driving to the border. The communication from the tour guide was great. Highly recommend it.

Safe and informative way to get to know Tijuana - Tadeo was a great tour guide, giving clear information and details of the landmarks and timeline. Our group was a good size of 5. I just wish we didn't stop for 35 minutes near an area where there were 5 shops of whom the staff all spoke good English. I felt pressured to buy, and just stopped in 1 store. I just wandered around on my own to let the rest of time pass.

Good intro to TJ - The tour was ok. I felt we were rushed at many of the tourist spots. I didn't think you needed 2 tequila tasting stops. The tour guide was new and very friendly. She walked me to the brewery at the end which is very hard to find. I would make sure you have small bills. Taxis don't have change. I got lucky crossing back over the border at 9pm, 5 minutes. Expecting 2 hrs.
