Every boat has a two-way communication system installed, so you’ll be able to listen to your guide throughout the trip. This speed boat escapade is a wonderful opportunity to observe the stunning harbor of San Diego and get acquainted with its past while zipping across the water.
- Not recommended for people with neck or back problems or a recent surgery to participate. Pregnant women should not participate
- Bring a swimsuit in the summer and a jacket in the winter, sandals or flip-flops, towel, sun block, sunglasses

Fun boat ride!! - Captain Dave was great, and very knowledgeable about the area. The boat was really easy to drive and you were really able to get some speed on the water. Definitely worth the money.

Fun adventure - It is so much fun and you get to see the bay from a new perspective..
I think it’s is perfect for taking teenagers as they are allowed to ‘drive’ if they are over 16 and with an adult.

Speed boat - Greate Perone e. Guide was great - had a lot of knowledge of San Diego, and explained how to use the boat in simple terms. He was also really good with one boat that lagged behind.

Thrilling San Diego Harbor Adventure: Speedboats, History, and Iconic Sights! - The San Diego Self-Drive Harbour Speed Boat Tour was an exhilarating experience! I had an absolute blast navigating the waters, and the tour guide was fantastic—informative, engaging, and full of energy. Cruising past the impressive naval base was a highlight, offering a close-up view of the mighty fleet. Seeing the historic ship-turned-museum was a fascinating touch, adding depth to the tour’s rich maritime experience. And, of course, the iconic "Unconditional Surrender" statue, depicting the famous sailor’s kiss, was the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable adventure on the harbor. Highly recommended!

Fun Adventure in the SD Harbor - This experience is a must for anyone looking to do something fun & exciting. I don’t know how to swim, but the instructor (Keoni) made it very comfortable and enjoyable. The boats were in good condition, and the other people in our time slot were friendly.

Highly recommended tour - Such a fun experience! Our tour guide was Adam, he shared interesting fact along the tour mixed in with some humor that made us laugh. We had a great time driving our own speedboat and seeing the sites, while learning more about San Diego.
