Meatball is the sweetest boy! The staff were so nice and always made sure I was comfortable and having a good time. The horses are so well tempered and it was overall a great experience enjoying the animals and the outdoors.

This was the perfect 1st time trail ride for my 9 year old grandson and his friend. This is a family run business, and the owners really care about the horses. A lot of the horses come from slaughter auctions, so they save the horses, rehabilitate them, and give them good homes in exchange for the 1-2 trail rides they do every day….. none of them do more than two per day. I am an animal activist, and would never go riding on horses that I thought were neglected, abused or overworked. I have a horse myself, and can spot a bad outfit when I see one, and this is NOT one of them. There is a darling petting zoo there as well, with some of the animals running around free, interacting with the people. We arrived early and saw one of the employees walking around handing out apples and carrots and there is a lot of care and love that they provide. The trails themselves are really beautiful, and we were told that the best time to go is March and April, when all of the flowers are in bloom. We walked the entire time, except for one part where the horses trotted up a little hill to an overlook of the Tijuana River and the surrounding area. My grandson and his friend had a great first trail ride experience, and I’ll be back, for sure!
