Absolutely amazing experience! - I was enjoying a solo weekend in San Diego, so I did this experience by myself. My guides, Nick and Marlow, were amazing. They made me feel very comfortable despite not knowing anybody on the tour. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and I plan to do it again with friends or family in the future!

Yes book this. - Nick was our guide. He was funny, positive, and made this landlubber feel at ease on going on a kayak out in the ocean. It was great. Would go again and recommend. Had a great time and saw so much. Loved it!
I have a few recommendations….the site and the emails sent as reminder could use some clarity on the cancellation policy. We didn’t have any issues but I can see where the site says 24 hour cancellation policy but I got an email that asked for 48 hours.
Also, no one carries cash to these things. Maybe have Venmo posted so people don’t have to ask the individual group leader for it or some way to tip the electronically.

Fantastic morning on kayaks - We did the La Jolla Sea Cave kayaks on Labor Day morning with Amy and Marlo as our guides. They were both very entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a great time, saw sea lions, heard about the local housing market, and got to go into a sea cave. They answered a ton of questions for us! Would definitely do it again and recommend it to all our friends.

Great but challenging! - I was a solo participant who had never kayaked before. It was quite the workout. I found the distance to the sea caves to be father than expected and kayaking in the ocean to be harder than expected. It would have been better for me to have had a partner in a double kayak. Regardless of these, this was a great experience! Seeing the sea caves & the sea lions were worth it! The guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

Great time! Take Dramamine before hand! - This was my second time doing this tour and it was just as amazing as I remember! Marlow and Delaney are incredible guides filled with fun stories and a keen eye for wildlife. Not even 10 minutes into the tour Marlow spotted a sea turtle. Truly magical! The only thing I would suggest is if you are prone to getting car sick, take a Dramamine beforehand. The waves were relatively calm when I went, but after two hours on the water my stomach felt a bit uneasy. I did the tour solo and did not get tired at all from paddling, it was very manageable as someone who is mildly active. Overall a very fun time!

Memories for Life - First and foremost our guides were enthusiastic, professional, positive, happy, knowledgeable, and so FUN! So welcoming from the start and that while on this adventure you’ll be kept safe and see amazing things. Josh & I did the 10:20 tour, single kayaks each, a sunny day with clear ocean views. Getting off shore was hilarious and I laughed so hard while paddling through the initial waves, getting completely soaked. Both Dez & Alex (guides) gave us every opportunity to see as much marine life as possible, very grateful for that. Saw sardines, leopard sharks, garibaldi, sea lions doing shenanigans, caves and so much more. Being up close to all this natural beauty from my kayak was just so amazing. It is a paddling tour and paddling is what we did. There was an opportunity to do some extra kayak skills, Josh participated and almost got a high five…I can’t say enough great things about our guides, HANDS DOWN we had the best. This is a must do while in La Jolla and I highly recommend this outfitter. You will not be disappointed. Book now and create memories for life.

beautiful marine life all around - Simply breathtaking at the amount of marine life visible both beneath and above our kayaks. Had a clear day to see so much and our guides gave us every opportunity for that. I can’t say enough great things about Dez and Alex. Super helpful, professional, friendly and full of knowledge but most of all very FUN! This is a must do when in La Jolla and I highly recommend this outfitter.

Would do it again! - Our guides, Spencer and Calvin, were great and provided lots of commentary and information on the local area. They also provided guidance on how to kayak. The water was fabulous and it was a great way to spend a couple hours.

Beautiful day on the ocean - We had a fabulous time in n this tour. Very well organized and super fun. Even if you have never kayaked this trip is worth doing. Our tour guides “two blondes” were awesome. Highly recommend you do this tour
