Great family activity; especially with tweens and teenagers - We’ve done so much on our trip to San Diego-but this was my most favorite activity! Kayaking was fun and relatively easy. Seeing the Sea Caves and wildlife from the water was awesome. Alexis and Finley were amazing guides, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and well trained to keep our group of beginner kayakers safe and comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Fun Times Kayaking to the La Jolla Sea Caves - My husband and I joined Everyday California's Sea Cave Kayak Tour for Two while we were visiting the San Diego/La Jolla area. Our tour guides, Veronica and Javier, were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem. They did an excellent job of guiding our group from the shore to the sea caves, pointing out marine life and points of interest along the way. All of the staff in the storefront were equally friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this company and tour while visiting the area!

Boring kayaking - We kayaked and saw some Pelicans fly by. We didn’t see any other wildlife. No fish. No leopard sharks. We didn’t go in any caves. You can see more wildlife from the shore.

Bait and switch - Parking was bad and we had to park really far away so make sure you're extra early. They do have lots of parking close by but everything was full. We got charged $14 extra per kayak on top of the amount we were already charged for our online trip advisor. A FEE I GUESS WE MISSED IN THE FINE PRINT? We kayaked all the way to the caves only to be told the we can't go in. Thats the whole reason we went kayaking with the guide. When we checked in a couple asked if they could rent the kayaks for personal use and go into the caves on their own. The cashier said that they aren't allowed to go in to the caves without one of their guides. The couple wasn't told that the caves are of limits to everyone today and they booked a later time than us for the guided tour. Thats not good business. They should've told us that we can't go inside the caves when checking in since that's the whole reason of the package that we paid for.

My wife & I joined the... - My wife & I joined the kayaking group guided by the leaders who did a fine job. My wife was at the front of the kayak & I was in the back. Shortly after we got in the water I found myself slipping forward in my seat - almost completely flat on my back! I tried countless times to bring myself to an upright position but I just ended up slipping. It was not my lack of strength, it wasn’t my clothing. I discovered that the way the thick plastic backing support against my back, was just a make shift rope which appeared to have been put together as a (replacement) to the thick ballistic nylon straps which was on everyone else’s kayak. It was supposed to be a real fun thing to do for our 50th anniversary & for me personally it ended up being a nightmarish experience. Needless to say we had to cut the kayaking trip very short. Never again with this company! Dan A
