Whole day on the thunder - It's a whole day trip. Once you arrive at Lake Mascardi, the road has a schedule of up and down, you have to consult it and plan accordingly! We arrived at 10 am and started climbing. Because it's tight and a lot of curves, we hit the blizzard around 13. If there is no snow you can reach the base of the thunderclap, q are 1 or 2 km more. Then we returned to pampas cute (only stop where you can eat something and go to the bathroom) very well attended! Nearby the trail goes to go to the jump of the buttocks, it is beautiful. A nice trekking to do as a family. At 16:00 we were able to make the way back (be ready for because there is a line of cars) and we arrived just at 17:00 to go to the waterfall the larches, which is on the other end of the park. It's a must. At 18 we turned back. I highly recommend them, my 3-year-old son walks everything and has a great time!

Impressive - We had the enormous fortune of going on a clear day and the beauty of the place is overwhelming. Must see if you are going to Bariloche. The drawback is that the path is enabled in only one direction at a time. To return you must wait until the 16th hour. Not far but demand 1 full day

MARIO, THE BEST GUIDE TO GETTING TO THE THRONEBOARD! - December 23, 2024, we went to Cerro Tronador guided by Mario, traveling through Lake Mascardi, the Manso River, Pampa Linda, Black Blizzard to the base of the Tronador. Guided by "the great Mario", who made the trip a great experience: a lot of experience and passion for the mountain (plus with a lot of grace) with several stops where you can discover different landscapes, always with the objective of the Thronador, through a meandering path between thick vegetation and bordering the Manso river with its waterfalls, where we could also reach. And at the end of the road the imposing thundercutter with its white peaks that through the black glacier flows into a large green lake. Great experience and with Mario, more. Cheers. Roberto, your co-pilot that day.

SILVINA HAS THE BEST HAIR IN THE COUNTY AND PURE GOOD WAVE:) - We did two tours with this agency: Cerro Tronador and Victoria Island, but Victoria Island is operated by CAU CAU, another company, so in this review I will only talk about Tronador.
In the office we were attended by Silvina and she was very nice with us!! We explain all the details and itineraries very patiently. On the day of the tour Walter picked us up and although at first he seemed serious and reserved, he ended up being an extraordinary tour guide. All the way he explained about flora, fauna and history of the region with a hidden sense of humor, but very good. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, it didn't stop raining, but still we were always allowed to get off calmly and take all the photos we wanted. The road is long, but it's worth it. The Tronador touched us extremely snowy and was a magical experience, especially for us who come from a warm place and are not used to snow. We had plenty of time to explore and even skateboard!! The shelter where we stop to eat is quite expensive and nothing extraordinary the food, but I guess it is normal in such a tourist place. The portions are good. The return playlist was 10, haha. I think in general it was one of the excursions we enjoyed the most in Bariloche. Thank you to Silvina and Walter for giving us such a memorable day, for their kindness and good vibe!!:)
The only thing is that hopefully they homogenize their info because I wanted to book online from Mexico and they had told me that because of the snow was not going to the Tronador and we almost changed the whole itinerary because of that, when we arrived at the office and were told that everything was operating normally.

Great excursion, when we can we will return. - It was all 10 points. Fabián, the driver and guide, was pleasant and had a great sense of humor. It took him a while to pick us up but it's understandable, we were the last. The landscapes and the hill are spectacular.

Beautiful excursion with double enjoyment: the road with its landscape and the beautiful glacier - Excellent excursion, full day, to enjoy it from the departure of Bariloche to the arrival at the glacier. The road is very beautiful, bordering Lake Mascardi and with beautiful views of the forest, one side of the road, and the lake, the other. The road is ripio, and has its wells, which were bypassed very well by the driver of the minibus, despite the rain that accompanied us throughout the outbound leg.
Reaching the Black Blizzard was impressive, as well as the sun made its appearance, starting at noon, which, as happens many times in Patagonia, we had all the weather!!
I recommend this excursion, as an alternative to the traditional way we usually visit in Bariloche, both in summer and now, before the snow blocks the roads and cannot be accessed until spring.

Excellent plan to spend the day - Very good plan for the day from bariloche. It has up and down schedule although when we go down we cross some that do not understand rules.. so we must not trust. Before you start climbing it is good to go down to the meek river and border it by the trail. Beautiful view at the end. Beautiful color of flowing water. The climb is beautiful. Amazing views. Several stops to make. Cascade of Caesars. There is a lot to do from this road if camping in the area. Upstairs is too crowded and tours so it overwhelms a bit. The views of the blizzard are beautiful. You can follow to a waterfall as well. Pampa cute stop for picnicking and when returning some mattes on one of the beaches that are made of the river mass that is going down. Beautiful

Wonders that justify the effort of the long way - We went x Turisur (cost 5000$ plus Cascada Los Alerces 500$ = 5500$/ almost 40u$ ) This is a Combi land excursion, long distances between stops, but totally justified to enjoy the natural wonders. 1st stop Cascada Los Alerces, originates from the Manso river dnd tmb is practiced raffting (in another sector) and walks its bank x a wooden staircase from low to moderate difficulty, in 25' you are facing the most important waterfall almost emerald, it is beautiful! Then we went to the Black Blizzard, it is the lake where the tempanos arrive that detach from one of the 14 glaciers of Cerro Tronador (here you can hear the noise of thunder as the tempanos fall that gave its name) We touched a cloudy and rainy day of very cold (even being summer) and in the distance you could see the glacier in the middle of the mist. Then we continue, passing x other viewpoints of Mascardi Lake, x Pampa Linda (place of campsites and hostels, very nice place) and finally after extensive route among the rising forest we arrive at Cascada Diablo Throat. Impressive!!! Unfortunately it was raining, x that we took refuge in his cafeteria, while replenishing energy with sandwiches that we carried. There are picnic tables and bathrooms. Since it kept raining, and we didn’t want to miss this last stretch, we faced the Trail with determination and under piles. It is rustic trail of dirt and stones, rising moderate difficulty by time, in 20' you get there but we went slowly not to slip, also xq the landscape was amazing! From the vertical rocky slope of the Tronador Hill, waterfalls fall soaring, impressive, all the way, they run to a river that goes down parallel to the trail, the rumor of the water falling and going down x the river is amazing. Upon reaching the end of the trail, ns surprised a larger, closer and very high waterfall, the q call the Devil's Throat x the noise it makes when falling. Undoubtedly an unforgettable experience!!! (watch video on my youtube channel: mundoarjo)
Pd the combi driver smoked every time he went down, so when he went up he shared his breath c the passage, dnd tmb there were smokers q even and to the indignation of my lady they started smoking in the Cascade (considering the recent fires, they should be stricter with this)

Nice landscapes but still details to improve - Wonderful landscapes but what it detracts from is that lunch gives you no options and for my taste was expensive and of terrible quality. I ordered a Milanese, a beer and a flavored water and paid 31 USD. The Milanese was inedible, the garnish was just potatoes. The restaurant is self-service and was fed up with tourists because all tours arrive at the same time so you have to wait. I also believe that the tour of more than 8 hours becomes unnecessarily long and can be shortened by decreasing the times in each place because to top off the seats are very small and narrow. For me, my legs didn’t fit and I had to go with my knees down the hall and the upright posture.
