It is worth doing with rental car in your time - We made the route of the 7 lakes leaving from Bariloche, passing through there angst , arriving at the last lake that lies in San Martins of the landes . We had lunch at the restaurant Lá Nueva Barra . We made this tour in September -2024 with the Vivências agency. It cost around ARS 70,000 per person. It was all perfect, very good Guide, had really knowledge of what we were talking about , we left at 8 hs on time and returned around 18:30 hs . But I suggest you rent a car in this same agency ( AR$ 45,000 per day with free km - if it is for 4 days ) and take this ride in your time . The road is very good , there is no danger and there is no way to go wrong . I will attach the route map and the center of Bariloche.

7 Lakes - We went with a tour company. The day started very cloudy so our first view of mirror lake was not good. The good thing is that it cleared out and from the third lake on it was nice. Beautiful views, cold but pleasant.

Recomendable. - It is a more than 400 kms journey, but it worth !! The travel itself is very enjoyable and every stop is fantastic. If you do not want to navigate this one day tour is one of the best we could find, and we did not mistake choosing it. We chose Vivencias Travels and everything was great.

Treķing along trails discovering unexpected places. Autumn is the best month to travel. - If there are beautiful places in Argentina, Bariloche, La.Angostura, San Martín de los Andes are unmissable places. Landscapes, gastronomy, human warmth. We should all know them.

Amazing restaurant - This is a tour to do on your own with rental car or taxi driver, remises or private. Back and forth are 400km from Bariloche, exhausting trip of excursion with agency and ends up being all struck. Amazing places along the way and San Martin de Los Andes and a small town and has not many attractions, but the view from the viewpoint is sensational!!! Lunch in a restaurant of handmade pasta excellent food with fair price (LO THE CHACHO) that is inside a small gallery. On the way we stopped in an area that still had snow and everyone played snow guerrilla which was very cool!!!’

Beautiful scenery but very tired. - Beautiful landscapes. Wonderful lakes. But far away. We stayed 3 hours in a Van to go and 3 more hours to return. Very fast stops for pictures on the lakes. San Martin de Los Andes is very beautiful on the edge of beautiful lake, but has nothing to do. The scenery is worth it, but if you have few days in Bariloche there are better tours.

A bit monotonous as you spend a lot of time on the bus. - Much of the time is spent sitting traveling on the bus and stopping at some lakes for 10 minutes, this part is quite boring and monotonous, arriving in the small town of San Martín de los Andes, it improves because it is possible to explore the city for 2 hours.

Just one long bus journey and back - Positive - Hugo (guide) and Gerardo (driver). Friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, clearly proud and passionate about Argentina and the Bariloche/7 Lakes area. Areas to improve. Essentially, it becomes a long drive to San Martin and then return to Bariloche. A few occasional stops for toilet and photo ops. Sadly, they stop at areas that aren't even that beautiful which is a shame as we drove past some stunning scenery. And, of course, the stops are the same as all other tours and buses so long queues for toilets and taking pics (with everyone else in your pics!) Two hours in San Martin which is neither pretty not interesting is a bit of a waste. Hire a car or private driver - then you'll see the proper beauty rather than just whizz past everything in a bus.
