La Fortuna with Elias Nature Tours - Elias was fantastic in helping organise tours for our time in La Fortuna. Luis was our guide for the night tour at Papa's Place & his knowledge was exceptional. We saw so many frogs, snakes & other creatures - totally recommend this tour & Elias Nature Tours. Elias also arranged a tour of the Mistico Hanging Bridges, a sloth tour & a coffee & chocolate tour - all were great fun. Thanks for a great experience!

Private Night Tour and Private Sloth Tour - Highly recommend using Elias Nature Tours! I messaged Elias via WhatsApp for a night tour and sloth tour, preferably a night tour the day I messaged and sloth tour the next day. A tall order with less than 12 hour notice, but Elias pulled through for us! We had private tours for both excursions and our guides were fantastic. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystem, and I’m just in awe with how they both were able to spot the animals. Without them, we would have seen nothing. I liked working with Elias since I just informed him what we were interested in and he created the child and coordinated everything for us. Such an easy process!

Best Tour experience in Costa Rica! - I reached out to Elias 2 weeks ago requesting a photo tour during my stay at La Fortuna. He responded quickly and was able to set up and guide through my first time in Costa Rica. Elias was not only able to help set up a birding tour but also help schedule an amazing Night photo tour in La fortuna and a wildlife photo tour in Manuel Antonio National Park. Guides: I worked with Gabriel, Jose "Chino" and Andrew during each of these tours. Each guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and was able answer all of my questions. They were also able to suggest good compositions for photography (as this was my first time trying my hands at wildlife photography), and also did their best to find specific species of wildlife I wanted photograph. They were also able to keep things entertaining and lively during the tour. Organizing each tour: Elias was prompt, always pleasant to work with and knowledgeable about Costa Rican regions I was visiting. He made sure each of my tours were reasonably priced and had the attention to details. I had special requirements for each tours and he made sure each of my needs were met. He even got us discounts on other self guided tours/hikes I wanted to do (without any strings attached). Communication: Elias and each of the guides I worked with were well-versed in English and were able to effectively communicate throughout the process and tours. Summary: I would highly recommend Elias Nature Tours for all your guided tour needs during your stay in La Fortuna and beyond. I will be reaching out to him during my next visit to Costa Rica!

Amazing experience working with Elias! - Elias is the finest that Costa Rica has to offer!! We started off doing a night tour with him at Danaus and loved it! He is so intelligent when it comes to Costa Rica’s Flora and Fauna! We also booked a day time sloth tour with his company at the bogarin trail. Raul was our good and he was so nice and great at spotting wildlife. We were able to see 4 sloths, a toucan, 2 owls, a boa, and plenty more! In addition to the nature tours he has helped us plan pretty much all of our other tours. He booked our chocolate/coffee tour, a pineapple tour, he booked a day for us at Baldi hot springs, and also he reserved our tickets for Manuel Antonio National park and arranged a guide for us there! Can’t say enough good things about him and highly recommend you get to know him and book your tours thorough him.

Hire Elias...Having a guide makes all the difference - Our family spent four days in the Arenal/La Fortuna area and in advance I booked three tours with Elias. The tours were private and were very affordable. He did not disappoint. I absolutely believe whether you have a general interest in nature and birding or are seeking out a truly unique experience, Elias has the patience and knowledge to satisfy both types. Our first exploration was a night tour and it was absolutely fabulous. I have heard that without a guide you will miss so much, and I can tell you this is true. Elias not only has an amazing eye for finding wildlife, he knows so much about each one. My 11 year old grandson is incredibly curious and Elias and he had so much fun. Elias answered questions and was very patient with our excited fact lover. He was never in a rush, didn't hurry the tour which in fact lasted longer than planned....we thought that was just amazing. We saw so many different frogs, spiders, lizards, butterflies, and even a momma sloth with a baby. We also booked a morning birding tour. It trended exactly the same way. Lots of patience....an incredible eye, and great information. He also pointed out other daytime animals that we may not have seen on our own. He made sure that everyone got fabulous pictures, whether shooting with a smart phone, or me....just learning a new 35mm. I also booked a tour with Elias to Agami Island to see the new found rookery of the Agami Heron. It was a once in a lifetime experience. What an amazing bird. Elias made sure the day was filled with great birding.....he also gave a taste literally of Costa Rican hospitality. Lunch at a Soda was amazing!!

It was great! - We had a great time on our bird watching tour and night tour with Chino. We saw many new species and just overall had a great time. It was a great experience and we would definitely recommend doing both the tours.

An amazing experience - The place is beautiful with too much biodiversity and precious species, very easy for bird watching, the trails are very easy to travel and easy to access. We loved our tour with Elias, an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge.

Melvin fab guide! - Eco Danaus is a very well maintained educational natural facility. It was a chance to see a lot of wildlife in a short amount of time. Melvin my guide was a wealth of knowledge on not only wildlife but flora and fauna as well. Do visit its well worth it I highly recommend them.

Costa Rica Night Tour - We had the best time and saw so many animals we would have never seen if it wasn't our tour guide. Highly recommend this for anyone that's wants to see animals at night. Also, we got a very lovely gift bag after our tour. This is a must do while in the area.
