Wonderful day of activities around La Fortuna - Our family of four (two teens 13 and 17) loved our 4 activities combo day but the best part we all agreed on was the Mistico park hanging bridges. It was magical and with a guide like Albert to point things out, give us loads of very interesting facts and stories, we had a great time. We also much enjoyed the other three activities which were La Fortuna waterfall, volcano hike and the Baldi Hot Springs. To do it again I would do the La Fortuna waterfalls on our own as you don’t really need a guide. We did pay to have a lunch included and it was served at the Casa Lyna Hôtel and Spa. We had a few choices to pick from and the food was great. I would eat there again. The volcano hike totally worth having a guide and again Albert was great. We ended the day with a visit at the Baldi Hotsprings. Beautiful place and lots of hot springs to move around. The kids loved the water slides. We did pay to include dinner and it was a buffet style. Not worth paying extra for it. The food was just ok. I would have rather eat at one of à la carte restaurant or just eat back into la Fortuna.

Great tour! - This was a great tour to capture most of the major attractions in the area at once. Due to the clouds, we didn’t see much of the volcano, but our guide was very knowledgeable about the history, wildlife, and geology of the region. The waterfall was beautiful and the hanging bridges was a great experience. I would recommend this to anyone.

What a great nature day! - Well-organized, super streamlined way to experience four different activities in a single day! Our guide Albert was a highly informed and good-natured naturalist, filling us in on all kinds of fascinating facts about all the characters he helped us spot, photograph and film - frogs, sloths, monkeys, honeybees, ants, snakes, lizards. Learning about the natural processes and interdependencies between the creatures and all the trees, plants, and their functions, histories, and environmental impact made this a richly fulfilling journey through rainforest and volcano. I would have loved a little more time for swimming at the La Fortuna waterfall, but we were fitting a lot into a single day! The van was well air conditioned for a welcome cool-off while in transit between sites. We chose the option to end the day at Baldi Hot Springs with dinner, which I didn't realize would be a buffet, not be in the regular restaurant. The options were plentiful, just a large tour group ambience instead of resort hotel tables with service.

Must do! Amazing experience! - Our driver, Hermes, was very kind! Our tour guide, Andres, was amazing! So knowledgeable and fun! Seeing the waterfall was amazing and there were plenty of places to stop on the walk down to see it! We wore teva’s, which helped when walking on the rocks near the waterfall! There was also time to change before going. The hanging bridges were beautiful as well! We saw plenty of wildlife. Additionally, hiking around the volcano was a great experience!

Just book it! - Ok the 5 star reviews tell no lie. I booked this tour in less than 48hours from the scheduled day and everything went smoothly. Pickup arrived on time (I have found Costa Ricans to be very prompt), our guide Yarenis was awesome and took time to explain everything to us. Family of 4 and we did the HB+W tour and enjoyed it. The 500 stairs back up from the waterfall was brutal for my 40yr old knees but my kiddos 10 and 7 slayed it like it was nothing! We were given snacks and water on the ride and the lunch at the end was a good way to wind down the day. I fully recommend this tour as it was easy and seamless.

Great experience and a Must to Do in Costa Rica. - My family of three did the Volcano / Waterfall / High Bridges w/Lunch. Volcanos- Great walking experience and knowing the history of the volcano eruption and the effects from it was a great to know and understand. Awareness - It’s an up hill climb on lava rocks and uneven walk. They do say it will be strenuous and they are not kidding. They do slow down when needed but be aware. The views are amazing. Waterfalls What a great view of the waterfall. As mentioned 500 steps down and back up. The steps are uniform and paved concrete. Handrail all the way. Awareness - At the bottom when getting into the falls the rocks are very slippery so recommend wearing water shoes but the water feels great. Bridges- this is amazing no matter if you are afraid of heights the views are great. Awareness- it’s a hike to get to some of the bridges so be aware that you will walk up hill and steep at points. The bridges felt safe to me though you will feel them swing a little as you walk. Lunch options are great and the Juice they give you is refreshing. (Anything other then juice and water is extra)

Great tour guides - We really liked our guide for this tour, Jasmin (Yasmin?). She talked us through the history of the volcano and gave us a short nature tour as we did the volcano hike. Later on, she also was able to find us a bunch of animals during the hanging bridges tour - we saw an eyelash pit viper, a monkey, a toucan, a motmot, and others. I personally loved chilling at the waterfall. It's a well-planned, well-guided tour that hits the big attractions. We were curious about the hot springs so we added that part on, but honestly that was part of the tour we would have been okay with skipping. But definitely recommend everything in the rest of the tour!

Great Tour, just not all in 1 day! - Great tour, great guides just too many physical activities for one day. My favorite part was the hanging bridges. So much wildlife and jungle which is exactly what I went for. Then, we went to the waterfall which was beautiful but if you’re not in shape, taking the stairs back up is brutal! You will most likely need to take breaks. We had lunch which was amazing and then hiked the volcano which was great but again, you need to be in shape and be able to withstand the humidity while doing all of this. By the time I was done with the hike the last thing, I wanted to do was jump in the hot springs and stay there till 9pm. Then, my driver was delayed almost an hour. I was completely exhausted. I would highly recommend splitting these activities between 2 days. But, overall loved the guides, air conditioned vans and experiences! Would go back in a heartbeat!!!
