Finding Fortune in La Fortuna Costa Rica - The activities exceeded our expectations at every level. All staff members were amazing, from pick up to drop off and in between. The canyoning and white water with this company is a must do. So much fun and laughter , not to mention delicious authentic cuisine! Our guide was Marco and he was simply amazing. I highly recommend this combo!

Must Do!!! - Had an incredible time canyoning and white water rafting. The whole experience was very organized from start to finish and the photo package was reasonably priced. The photos were incredible and I am leaving with so many memories. I can’t wait to book them again next time I visit!!

The best adventure tour! - We did the Mambo Combo tour; a morning of canyoning and an afternoon of white water rafting. The whole crew was amazing, especially Dario, Marco, and Emmanuel! We had an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend! Safe, professional, and a whole lot of fun!

Pura Vida - From start to finish, we felt safe and taken care of. One of us was skeptical of canyoning and the other of rafting but we were both made to feel comfortable every step of the way. All of the guides were very friendly and explained each activity thoroughly. The food provided was delicious and well-timed. We had an absolute blast and are so glad we took the leap to try this tour. Pura Vida!

Memorable times with memorable guides! - This experience was so amazing! It was 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We did the canyoning first thing in the morning and although rainy and a little cold, the adrenaline kicked in and we all had a blast. The trek back up to the starting place was long and a hike so be ready for lots of cardio! For the water rafting, we were fortunate to have two amazing guides lead our rafts...Emmanuel and Raul were passionate about their job, knowledgeable about their country and radiated happiness! We recommend these adventures whole heartedly with Desafio.

So much fun! - The crew was so helpful and kind. The adventure was so much fun!we rappelled down some very high waterfalls, climbed over boulders and had a small plunge into the water.

One of the best days of our trip to Costa Rica - Amazing and exhilarating day! The canyoning, ziplining, hiking, and "Costa Rican shower" were super fun and the staff was very professional. The waterfalls are huge but we felt safe and in control the whole time. The rafting was incredible and more intense than expected. Felt more like Class IV rapids than II or III, which was great for us. Our overall tour guide, Rolo from Nicaragua, is extremely knowledgeable about Costa Rica and showed us an amazing time from start to finish. Finally, the authentic Costa Rican lunch was outstanding - we all went for seconds. Would highly recommend these guys.

Amazing adrenaline-filled excursion!! - I cannot recommend this excursion enough, it was amazing!! All of the guides were really fun, friendly, and professional. They went above and beyond making sure that you stayed safe at both excursions. The waterfall rappelling was quick-paced with lots of hiking in water and rocks and it was amazing to having that as part of the activity. The rappelling portion was so much fun with both short and long distances, as well as some zipline rappelling. The rafting was a great adrenaline rush and Alonso made sure we all had a good time while staying safe. They also provided a buffet lunch which was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for an adrenaline filled water activity, I would book this one!!

Best tour ever - Best tour I’ve ever taken, so adventurous and fun with great people running the trips. The best part was the rappelling down waterfalls. We even stopped to listen to the river sounds. It was just overall a perfect adventure

For thrill seekers - WARNING: Do not go on the canyoning tour if you cannot walk up steep steps for 15 continuous minutes at the end of the tour. We started our Costa Rica trip with this adventure and 3 days after we can still barely walk as we are not hikers. That we said, even being this sore, we are THRILLED we got the experience. The guides speak great English, are so funny (cracking jokes and singing in Spanish). We felt safe and secure with the equipment they gave us. We wore Keens (suggestion from other reviews) and they were perfect. Good grip as we walked through the jungle. You will be submerged in water at points but they have lockers for your change of clothes and phones to store before your tour. There are 4 waterfalls, 2 big and 2 little. There is a photographer on the platforms capturing your repel that you can buy for $20 at the end of tour. They emailed pictures that we downloaded 2 days after the tour. TONS of clear photos and well worth the money. The rafting also had great guides. We stopped halfway down and they cut up fresh pineapple, watermelon and cantelope. Alfonzo, our guide, pointed out iguanas, vultures, toucans and even a sloth as we floated down the river. He told us it is the 5th best river to raft in the world and we see why! There was lots of rain the night before so the rapids were thrilling, but we felt safe and we're given great instruction prior to starting. We were exhausted by the time we got back to our hotel (Heliconias Nature Resort. They picked us up and dropped us off) but it was the perfect adventure to start our trip! Highly recommend!
