San Bartolo Coyotepec - Featured Craft: Black Pottery. This community is renowned for producing elegant black pottery pieces, including both utilitarian and decorative items.
Attractions: Local workshops and stores offer a wide range of products, from tableware to sculptures, with the opportunity to witness the crafting process. - Villa de Zaachila - On Thursdays, Villa de Zaachila hosts the traditional “Market Day.” Farmers and artisans sell native fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, and crafts. Visitors can also enjoy typical foods like barbacoa, memelas, and tejate. Additionally, animals are sold, and bartering between communities sometimes occurs. It is a very authentic Oaxacan market. (ONLY VISIT ON THURSDAYS)
