Private Full-Day Quito City Tour & Mitad del Mundo - We had a fabulous day on a private tour of Quito and the surrounding area, coordinated by Alex Manzaba. Alex was terrific with adjusting the schedule to fit best with the ever-changing weather in Quito. He flexed to get in as much as possible with the pending rain, and made great suggestions that were “off the beaten path.” He accommodated all of our requests (for example, we didn’t want a long lunch, we wanted to see the city) and was knowledgeable and passionate about his home town. It was an absolutely perfect day in Quito!

Five experiences in one day! - An action-packed trip that kept us moving! Toured the old part of the city, stopped for a bite at a cafe and people-watched on the Grande plaza, went on a tour of a chocolate maker, saw the angel statue, and went to the REAL equator! At the equator, we did science experiments and saw real shrunken heads. Don't forget to get your passport stamped at 0 degrees longitude and latitude!

A tour of Quito and the Mitad del Mundo well worth the price - I had poked around Quito's old town on my own for a couple of days but wanted to learn more and to visit El Panecillo. The Mitad del Mundo was not something high on my list of must-sees, but I figured why not. It ended up being a fantastic day. Raul was an excellent guide: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. It was just the two of us in town, and we had a really nice morning seeing the sights. We then met up with a couple for the Mitad del Mundo portion of the tour in the afternoon. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The drive there was interesting, and the equator complex was fun -- and kitschy only in the best possible way. My heart went out to the owners of all the shops and restaurants, since tourists were fairly thin on the ground. I decided to go on a tour to Cotopaxi with this same tour company, and Diego showed me and the other guest a great time there. Quito and Ecuador are amazing places to visit.

Great combo tour - We did three things around Quito - the cable car up to the cloud forest, the middle of the world and then old town. Great experience.

Great combination tour - This tour provides a nice combination of getting right out of the city to the Monument and surroundings, as well as a walking tour of the old city. The museum showing all the scientific facts of what it means to be at the centre of the earth is fascinating and fun - including hands on experiments ! and is well worth the visit. The old town is very interesting, the interiors of the two main churches unbelieveable - I’ve never seen so much gold and incredible altar decoration outside of Rome. A lunch stop in a lovely old two storey courtyard setting with various options topped it all off nicely, including a very knowledgeable and attentive guide. This trip recommended - thank you !

Loved it! - I shared the tour with one other person - another lone female traveler. Our tour guide was Ximena and she was lovely — knowledgeable, friendly and such a wonderful person to introduce us to Quito. The tour was at least 9 hours (perhaps slightly longer) and she was enthusiastic about making sure we didn’t miss anything (even buying and sharing sweet mango pieces and treating us to coladas). She was also a careful driver and very attentive to our needs. I really enjoyed our conversations as much as all the sites - we saw all the sites listed on the itinerary but we weren’t rushed - Ximena took time to make sure we got the full experience at every location. Highly recommended!!!! This tour is especially nice if you have limited time in Quito and want to get a good introduction to the city and the immediate area.

We had this with Latin Adventures... -
We had this with Latin Adventures. Alfonso, our tour guide, drove me and my wife a private tour to places like the Quito Virgin, and the Cathedrals in downtown Quito. Since this happened on a Sunday, the Feast of Three Kings in Catholic church, we were able to catch a parade that showcased the richness of the Ecuadorian culture. A visit to the real Mitad del Mundo highlighted our trip. It was a perfect day to have this tour. Amazing trip!

Full Day Tour to Quito Old District and Mitad del Mundo - Although our guide Diego was very nice, the tour operator arrange this tour in unfair way as they put together people from 3 different tour. So the skip some part of our tour (no enough time as we have to see other things that were not supposed to be included in our tour) and we have to spend more money to visit sites that were not included in our tour (alternatively we should just wait outside and lost our time doing nothing). Viator should choose better the tour operator, if I reserve a tour I want to visit all the place that are supposed to be seen and no pay for extra sight that are included in other tour, this is a cheating!!! Avoid this tour operator.
