Informative, relaxed and organized private tour. - I had limited time in Samarkand and wanted to make the most of it. This private tour is 5/5. Amin was able to show me the best Samarkand has to offer. The ride was comfortable and the stories non-stop. It felt like I was touring with a friend

Best way to get indepth history of Samarkand - I was traveling with a group that didn't want to use a guide and I signed up for this hoping to get a very indepth history of the regions. Amin was very good at providing this. He arrived at my hotel lobby on time, had a very comfortable car, and proved very adept at being totally grilled about the timeline history. We had a great lunch visited a carpet factory and he worked at helping me find a pool to swim. (Although I wound up going to the Dolphin, a 50-meter pool which was fantastic if a bit difficult to use give language gaps.)

Totally Reccomended - I had an excellent private tour in Samarkand with Faridun, a very talented and professional guide. From the moment of pickup, everything was smooth and well-organized. Faridun was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and explained everything with passion and clarity, while giving me the time and space to fully enjoy each site. It felt personalized and unhurried — exactly how exploring a historic city like Samarkand should be. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful and expertly guided experience.

Inside look at Samarkand and its history - An excellent days outing, made all the more fabulous by the magnificent Mr. Amin. We covered many kilometers around the central and old city of Samarkand. We saw mosques, museums and much, much more. Bring your walking shoes, there is a fair amount of walking and some steps to get up, during the last site visit. Amin is a careful driver, intelligent and highly knowledgeable in relation the history of his city as well as general knowledge. A very pleasant and highly recommended experience. You will see all the important highlights in the most efficient and comfortable manner. Highly, highly recommended.

An exceptional guide who turns a trip into an unforgettable experience! - During my recent journey through Uzbekistan, I had the great fortune of meeting a truly outstanding guide in Samarkand. Not only did he expertly lead me through the city with precision and deep cultural knowledge, but he also flawlessly arranged guided tours for me in Bukhara and Khiva. The day in Samarkand was perfect: well-managed schedule, a complete itinerary, and insightful explanations that struck the ideal balance between history, culture, and everyday life. I didn’t just visit the city—I experienced it. But the real added value came afterward: my guide arranged contacts for Bukhara and Khiva as well, matching me with professional, passionate local guides who each had their own unique way of revealing the true soul of Uzbekistan. In a country where each city feels like a world of its own, having someone with such precision, organization, and cultural sensitivity is a rare gift. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to go beyond surface-level tourism and truly connect with the heart of Uzbekistan.

He took us round this beautiful, historic city, was very happy to answer all our questions and gave us time to take in the incredible experience. Amin was waiting for us when we arrived on the train and immediately gave us bottles of water which was most welcome. He was brilliant- thank you, Amin.
