Nice - Tour guide in Samarkand : Hakeem *very polite and helpful tour guide. *The trip was lovely and very informative. *Easy and clear instructions for pickup and drop off. *Transportation very nice and well maintained by the trained. Even they serve free meals in Vip coach. *flexibility to choose your timing to end the tour. ** however, i wished if we visited different historical place that doesn't look like the rest of masjids and Madrasah, after visiting 2, 3 historic place my eyes got used to it.. they all look the same. Overall, it's nice trip * bring umbrellas, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable modest clothes.

Lovely Samarkand Day Trip - My day trip to Samarkand was truly unforgettable, thanks to the amazing team at GOTOUZBEKISTAN. From start to finish, everything was smooth and thoughtfully organized. The experience began in Tashkent, where Izzatullo, the coordinator, ensured I had a seamless pick-up from my hotel and drop-off at the train station. Every detail was taken care of, which made the journey stress-free and comfortable. In Samarkand, I was warmly welcomed by my guide Mokhigul and her wonderful son Arif. Mokhigul was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about her city’s history and culture. She brought Samarkand’s iconic landmarks to life with her stories, and even added personal touches that made the tour feel more like spending the day with a local friend than a traditional guided experience. Arif’s cheerful presence made the day even more enjoyable, he helped me get the most picturesque spots in town. They also made me enjoy Samsa and Manti for lunch which was incredible. If you're planning to explore Samarkand, I highly recommend booking with GOTOUZBEKISTAN. This team goes above and beyond to deliver a meaningful, hassle-free, and memorable experience.

A fairy tail of Samarkand - Amazing tour - welcoming and knowledgeable guide, very balanced program, and the travel there and back was super-smooth. The drivers in both Tashkent and Samarkand were very punctual and prifessional - thank you for this beautiful experience! Oh, and we also had a yummy lunch in the restaurant garden with a real Samarkand pilaf - nice touch! I loved every minute if it and would like to come back again!

Wonder Guide at Samarkand - The tour started with pickup from hotel. I was asked by the agent to get ready at 7:00 but at the end I was being picked up at 7:40. I was taken to the train station to take the high speed train to Samarkand. The guide at Samarkand Mrs Mokhigul was fantastic. She is knowledgeable and planned the tour so well that she made sure she had time to tell us the history at each site and time for us to take photos, Samarkand is beautiful. But just too hot to visit in June.

Samarkand - This was a true learning experience. Our guide, Mokhigul, patiently answered all of our questions. She was able to talk about history, religion and the culture of Uzbekistan. She was kind and thoughtful, always looking out for our needs.

Not bad - The tour and the guide were great. Lunch was delicious! However the A/C in the car was not working in Samarkand and it was really hot. Another issue was that they don't buy the tickets until an hour or two before departure. If you are traveling with someone or in my case with children, it's likely that you won't be able to sit together. You may also have to wait a couple of hours for the train going back to Tashkent. Overall the tour itself was informational and the sights were amazing.

1 day tour to Samarkand - I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Mokhigul for organizing our recent visit. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and we were fortunate that the scorching hot weather did not dampen our spirits. In fact, we managed to make the most of the situation by taking breaks under the shade of the building and refreshing ourselves with cold coffee. The scenery in Samarkand was breathtaking, with impressive buildings showcasing stunning architecture and well-preserved structures. Being surrounded by this beauty was truly captivating. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Mrs. Mokhigul for her extensive knowledge of the history and places in Samarkand, which catered to my curiosity and interest. Her expertise made the visit even more enriching, and I am grateful for her valuable guidance throughout the tour.

Wonderful activity great - The experience in Samarkand is truly wonderful, as this city is fascinating and full of history. The management of the activity is excellent: the guides take care of almost everything, from purchasing tickets for the monuments to making restaurant reservations, as well as accompanying travelers to the train station. However, I am not giving the highest rating because upon arrival at the train station in Tashkent, you are left there and the tourist has to find the local guide in Samarkand on their own, which can be inconvenient. Another aspect that could be improved is allowing more free time for shopping at the bazaar, as it is very limited and then time is wasted waiting for the return train.

Terrible a nightmare - You don't go there. It's terrible. They're scammers. Rude and rude staff. Go somewhere else to plan your trips.
