This picturesque setting of the candlelit Baroque Hall is located in the heart of Salzburg’s old town. The three-course meal is inspired by historical recipes from the 1700s, so you try dishes that you wouldn’t usually make at home. Musicians of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg, consisting of an exquisite chamber ensemble and two opera-singers, all dressed in authentic Rokoko costumes, inspire with a lively and first-class show.

The venue, St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is the oldest restaurant in middle Europe and even Mozart and his family used to dine there.
Dress Code: smart casual, admission until 7:15pm
- Wheelchairs: there is no lift, but wheelchairs can be carried upstairs by staff (no electric, heavy wheelchairs). Please arrive no later than 6:30 pm.
- Evening starts at 7:30pm, admission until 7:15pm, doors open at 6:30pm, box office is available from 6:00 pm.
- Late seating ist possible only during intermissions. Early appearance recommended.
- Seats are at shared tables and will be assigned on the spot
- Dress code is smart casual.

Excellent event itself and recommended - BUT very poor customer care from TripAdvisor - I've given a 5 star rating for the event which was excellent and definitely recommended, albeit the drinks were quite pricey.
Staff worked very hard and to great efficiency and precision.
Special thanks to Petra Toscany (CEO of Mozart Dinner Concert Betriebs GmbH) who was excellent in dealing with my booking when issues arose with TripAdvisor system.
Zero rating for TripAdvisor and how they dealt with issues regarding changing the number of people in our group, no contacts regarding revised payments, which caused a lot of angst, not to mention many emails which had to be sent.

A wonderful experience - It was wonderful experience. The performance was very good. The meal was from recipes and seasonings from 1790. The restaurant is the oldest restaurant in Europe established in 803. We loved it.

The Mozart dinner... - The Mozart dinner experience was a delight. The room was beautiful. The dinner was actually quite good. The musicians were talented and engaged the audience. I would highly recommend.

Amazing singing. Average food. - The musicians and singers were fantastic. The food was average at best, with the dessert insipid. I noticed when I was leaving there were quite a lot of uneaten desserts left.

Great entertainment but disappointing food and service - We recently spent a long weekend in Salzburg and booked this experience for our last evening. We appreciated the venue, and the ambiance and performances were magical. We were randomly seated at a table with three other international couples. The stage was easy to see and hear, and the opera singers moved through the crowd. Our table attendant took our drink order from the most extensive wine list I have ever seen. We wanted to order wine by the glass. Perhaps the waiter did not speak English well, but he explained we were given the old wine menu and proceeded to try to sell me the most expensive glass versus answering my request for a particular varietal. I felt as though the patrons ordering bottles received better service. The first course was a clear broth with dumpling, and it was good. The main entree was chicken with polenta. For a formal meal, the women at the table should have received their selections first. Instead, the entrees were delivered in any order. Both the meat and polenta were lacking in flavor. My chicken was also lukewarm. The dessert was underwhelming for an elaborate meal. The evening was good due to the performers, but I probably wouldn’t do the event again.

Excellent concert but the most terrible, terrible dinner. - Excellent concert but the most terrible, terrible dinner. We are well seasoned travellers and this has been the worst dinning experience for many years. The wait staff, venue and performers were all excellent but the kitchen that preparation and quality of the appetizer, main corse and dessert was terrible.
