The fortress is located in the old town (pedestrian area). Go to the funicular station (Festungsgasse 4) & present your voucher there to get a free ride from 30 min. before dinner start. By car use the car park at Hildmannplatz 1, Entry (Einfahrt)B, follow the sign Festung/Dom, walking time 10 min.

A beautiful night! - Everything about this experience was great! The food and service were excellent and the concert was outstanding! The best part was the view up above the city. We definitely recommend this experience!

Wonderful evening at the fortress - We absolutely loved our evening at the fortress! The ride up the funicular was fun (and fast). We were able to walk around and get some incredible pictures. Dinner was good and service was excellent. The concert was nothing short of amazing. Incredibly talented and passionate musicians who played flawlessly. Would highly recommend this experience…it is a must if you visit Salzburg.

World class! - The musicians were superb! World class in our opinion. The concert venue was magical, in the fortress on top of the hill. The sun was setting through the windows behind the musicians as they played it was really nice. We had signed up for the golden VIP dinner ahead of time and that was delightful also. We highly recommend going. It was the highlight of our time in Salzburg.

Great dinner, wish there... - Great dinner, wish there was AC. Great concert. Access to the funicular can be problematic if other events are on in the area. Taxi dropped off as close as possible and then had to walk to funicular with poor signing in area...

Fantastic concert! Dinner I would dispense, but wanted to experience a typical Austrian food - Unforgettable concert. It was exciting . I've been to many equally very good concerts, but being in Dalzburg where Mozart was born, watching a chamber orchestra in a fortress that is part of a castle, has no comparison. I would dispense dinner because it is not so wonderful, but it was worth it!!

Listening to Mozart EN town ES always a 10 - Dinner ES quite loose for a Gol DEn VIP experience, because they consider the first course a muffin with cream cheese (which ES Spain is an appetizer), a later one that is an almond soup, and a verda DE ro main course, fish (half trout) or meat (two fillets of beef EN a very rich sauce). Scarce. Dessert, typical Austrian soufflé, very good, and this yes, abundant. The service, both at the reception and at the table, excellent. The concert ES something else. A marvelous string quartet DE. An experience, in short, very good, dinner being the most lax.

Concert: great. Dinner: not so much. - Better to buy the concert tickets separately and have dinner elsewhere. Nice environment, but no menu choices at all, plus no drinks or even coffee/tea are included, so you end up paying a lot for a mediocre meal. Concert was excellent though.
