A stop near St. Gilgen will allow guests to take in the panoramic view of St. Wolfgangsee, a renowned location where “The Sound of Music” begins. Additionally, guests can see the mountain with the train ascending.

• St. Wolfgang - Enjoy a drive along the longest and most picturesque lake in the Salzkammergut region.
• Hallstatt - Guests will have 1.5 to 2 hours to explore Hallstatt’s old town independently. Key spots will be highlighted.
• Hallstatt Skywalk - CLOSED FROM 1.9.2025 due to construction works! Alternative cable car options will be available from 01.09.2025.

OPTIONAL: During the excursion, guests can take a lift to the Sky Walk for a view of Hallstatt and the Dachstein Mountains from above. The lift requires an additional fee, payable on-site.

• Hallstatt-Dachstein - Salzkammergut Cultural Landscape - On the return drive to Salzburg, enjoy the picturesque Austrian farm life and the majestic Dachstein Mountain range.
• Hallstätter See - Guests can view the entire lake and have the option to rent a boat to experience Hallstatt from the water. (Boat rental is not included in the price).
• Gosau - Optional: On the return journey, there will be a stop for photos near the stunning Lake Gosausee, offering views of a quaint village beneath the Dachstein Mountains.
• Gosaukammbahn - OPTIONAL: Take a cable car to view Lake Gosau and the Dachstein Glacier. €22.60 per adult. Operates until the end of November.
