Breathtaking! - Hallstat is breathtaking! It is as picturesque as I would have imagined when seeing it either on social media or on paintings. I suggest taking an afternoon tour since it is a bit foggy in the morning which can hinder you from seeing the Lake and the church steeple clearly.

Beautiful village - Beautiful views along the trip and Halstatt is as beautiful as advertised. We had plenty of time to rent an electric boat on the lake. It’s so peaceful out there and the views from the boat are spectacular.

Great independent tour of Hallstatt - Guide was lovely. Hallstatt is stunning. Although it would have been nice to have bit more of a guide presence once we’re at Hallstatt for some more information. We basically were just brought there on bus and then left to explore on our own

I was 5 minutes late and... - I was 5 minutes late and Panorama had the bus stop and wait for me and they drove me over to it. Great service!! The driver and tour guide were great. Lots of laughs.

Gorgeous! - A great way to see Hallstatt! It was a scenic ride and our guide was great! It was a rainy day so you may need more time if you want to do the salt mines and other things.

Amazing Tour - Amazing tour! Only complaint would be that we didn’t know most places in Halstatt are cash only. Bridgette was awesome as our guide and gave us so much information along the way. We would recommend this tour for sure.

Worth the trip! - Even though it was a cloudy and sometimes rainy day, Hallstatt was as beautiful and idyllic as I had hoped.

More Photo Ops Desired - Guide Richard was personable and knowledgeable. The two stops were picturesque. Hallstat was beautiful. But as we drove back to Salzburg though the countryside, we didn't stop even one time to get pics of snow capped Alps.

Just transport to and from Hallstatt - You need to exchange a coupon at the Panorama Tours kiosk before boarding the bus, which left on time. We were given about 2 hours at Hallstatt, which was sufficient to walk the town and grab lunch, but not enough to do the other activities. But our guide, Susie, spoilt the experience - she tried way too hard to be entertaining and it was at the expense of the driver, whose name she kept purposefully pronouncing wrongly to be funny. It was disrespectful, especially since he didn’t understand English.
