Specially designed buses will transport you along the Eagle’s Nest Road, celebrated as one of Europe’s most scenic mountain routes. The 20-minute bus ride leads to a parking area 124 meters below the Eagle’s Nest. From there, a walk through a tunnel provides access to the historic elevator, which ascends into the house itself. Your guide will offer insights into how the premises were furnished and utilized during the Third Reich. Following this informative session, there will be time to further explore the site. You can hike to the mountain’s summit for photos and perhaps enjoy a refreshment on the sun terrace, where you can take in 360-degree panoramic views of the stunning Bavarian Alps.
