A Unique, Fun Activity - Much fun making the dough, strudel and the Salzburger Nockerl souffle dessert. Our hosts were always helpful and engaging. The lunch goulash is like a hearty lintel type soup; tasty stuff. We had leftover strudel for next morning's train ride. A welcome change from sight-seeing.

We had high expectations and they were met! - This was a great experience! We aren't strangers to group cooking class activities and this ranked among the best. So appreciative of our instructor, Agnes, and fellow participants in the class. We had fun, learned a lot, and left with full bellies. Can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic Experience! - Planned this activity as a fun way to engage all 8 of us on a family trip to Salzburg last week.... and boy was it a hit! The instructor and his colleagues were super helpful and patient with us who weren't at all proficient with the task at hand (think holes in the dough despite our best efforts). Nevertheless, their recipes were spectacular because despite our dreadful and inept cooking skills, both the apple strudel and salzburger nockerl we made under their direction ended up being so delicious (honestly better than what we've had at restaurants). The goulash lunch was also delectable. For that, I can't recommend this activity and this cooking school enough. We had so much fun that even my 13 year old nephew enjoyed it.

A lovely way to learn some Austrian cooking - We really enjoyed this cooking class, set into the side of the hill! It was expertly prepared and ran completely on schedule for the whole class with friendly and helpful teachers. You certainly don't have to be a chef to take part and our strudel and Nockerl turned out beautifully and were delicious. The goulash served for lunch was so tasty and it was lovely to eat authentic Austrian cuisine. We finished our strudel cold on the bus back to the airport later and it was still tasty! A lovely experience in the heart of Salzburg. Thankyou!

Apple Strudel Cooking class - This class was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it. The chefs had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing. To my surprise the strudel came out great as did the nockerl.

Delicious and Delightful Experience - What a literal treat it was to learn how to make Apple Strudel and the famous Salzburg Nockerl from our delightful instructor, Leonardo. He had us stretching the strudel dough like professionals and, while everything was cooking, he’d prepared a delicious beef goulash and lentil bean soup that we ate for lunch! The Edelweiss Cooking School is tucked away in a charming location just over the bridge. We had to take our strudel ‘to go’ to catch our train, but Leonardo was so accommodating and prepared a container for us to take on the train. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour — you don’t need to be a professional baker, Leonardo will help you!
