Beautiful - Truthfully, I should have known Salzburg is a walking city. So you essentially do a big circle on the outside of the city and around the other side of the mountain. The advantage is that you can go to these places easily - in that case get the 48 hour

Excellent way of discovering Salzburg's area - It gives you the chance to first locate the places you want to visit, and then to stop and visit them.

Wish I had known about the inclusion of the Eagle's Nest on the 48-hour trip before I bought the day tour from Munich. - Had the 48-hr trip. Enjoyed the places we visited: Sound of Music places; Mozart's Geburtshaus; Salt Museum; etc. Wish we had more time and energy to have been able to explore the other places.

Not terrible, but don’t pay for it - Relaxing, air conditioned ride to the Hellbrunn Palace but not much else. Loved listening to Mozart on my headphones but not enough for the price I paid

It was ok - Scenery. Salzburg was a little underwhelming after being in Cologne and Strasbourg. The bus is good for an overview

So disappointed! - We came to the yellow line buss in Mirabell stop at 15:30 on Thursday 1/8 when the buss was starting. The driver Carmen was very nice and she couldn’t charge me by card and I didnt have enough cash, so she said that she would stop at an ATM so that I could take some cash. She charged me 80 euros for a 24 hours ticket 2 persons, and gave me a receipt of 58 euros. I was so confused that I didn’t react immediately. When I came home and counted my money I found out what she had done. Pity because she seemed very nice, and I was grateful that she stopped to let me get the money. In general I found the Austrians to be very honest. The tour of 1 hour was ok. The blue line is 2 hours and we will try to get it tomorrow 2/8-24. There is also a green line that you can take.

Setback - We thought we could get on and off at the attractions. You can but you have to wait 3 hours for the next bus. This is also communicated. You can't get off the bus and take a picture at one of the stops. In short, a 2-hour trip on the bus and that's it. Disappointed us very much and certainly a waste of money!

Terrible tour company and employees - Unfriendly and inhospitable from the moment we approached the ticket guy. He wouldn’t get up from his chair and was generally rude when we asked if we could purchase tickets for the next bus. The bus offers low budget ear phones and u plug in at the seat and listen to a recording. There was virtually no communication from the driver, until she side swiped another vehicle and told everyone to get off the bus. We were never told anything further, we were just left roadside. Someone said another bus would come get us, but ended up blowing right by. 45 min later she finished with the police and let us back on the bus, but only after we had to ask her what was going on. The rest of the tour wasn’t completed. This tour and the people who work for them are terrible. Avoid this company.

Terrible - Not worth the cost. Yellow line very basic and our driver hardly stopped anywhere for us. The blue line tour is ridiculous. It has a total tour time of 3 hours and only three buses runs a day- so if you hop off at one of the highlights you have to wait 3 hours for the next bus so then you dont have time to stop at any of the other stops. Then if you catch the last bus and hop off at a stop you then have no way of getting back. Absolutely absurd and we totally wasted our money. Definitely do not recommend
