Our quest kicks off at Salento Park, where we will hop into a Land Rover bound for the Machín Volcano located in Cajamarca, Tolima municipality. During the 75 kilometers long trip, we will make various pit stops for meals, refreshments, and to enjoy the charming Toche village, along with viewing the magnificent vistas of the central Andean mountains….
Our quest kicks off at Salento Park, where we will hop into a Land Rover bound for the Machín Volcano located in Cajamarca, Tolima municipality. During the 75 kilometers long trip, we will make various pit stops for meals, refreshments, and to enjoy the charming Toche village, along with viewing the magnificent vistas of the central Andean mountains. Upon arrival at the Machin Volcano’s crater, we will trek roughly 3 kilometers (a 2-hour journey) to the volcano’s domes. Subsequently, we get to unwind in the natural thermal pools before we head back to Salento.
