Hiking in Salalah - My recent hiking tour in Salalah, Oman, with Mohammad as our guide, was an unforgettable experience. Amazing Salala - The region of Salala is a hidden gem. I was lucky to be there during the rainy season (don't worry, it is still warm and entertaining) and some of thr landscapes are just breathtakingly amazing. The region has a human population of 500k and camel population is of 200k, which gurantees some fun. My trip would/could not be this amazing if I hadn't met Mohammed, the superknowledgable guide. He not only knows the best hiking places or lookout locations, he can tailormake your trips to your interest. We included architectural and historical sites, some of them thounsands years old. We openly discussed Oman's rich cultural history and modern day society. He witnessed my first ever camel meat lunch and informed me about the local custom of tea with cinnemon. I highly, strongly recommend you take at least a day trip with him, it will widen your horizont. And he is funny too :) with fluent English skills. Sukran Mohammed, I will be back. :)
