Explore the ‘Lost City of Ubar’ (another UNESCO World Heritage site). This legendary ancient kingdom, known as Ubar, was believed to have existed in one of the most inhospitable places on earth – the vast and forbidding Rub Al Khali desert, aptly named the Empty Quarter. According to legend, the desert consumed Ubar.
After exploring the site, continue to the Empty Quarter to experience the “largest sand desert in the world” by wandering over the captivating sand dunes. A breathtaking view of the expansive desert awaits at the top of the dunes.
