Informative, friendly and funny! - We had such a wonderful morning. It was great to have the opportunity to go to the Thursday market and learn about all the ingredients, and pick up a couple of sweet treats. We went back to the cookery school and made our delicious dishes. The information was easy to absorb. Our host was so kind, funny and professional. The whole team were great and everything went really smoothly. One of our best holiday experiences and great to leave Thailand with the knowledge of how to make some incredible food. A huge thank you! We loved it!

Culinary journey - The cooking class was super well thought out. Both experienced and less experienced chefs could prepare and enjoy four dishes in a relaxed way. There was a lot of good and helpful information about vegetables, spices and their processing. The atmosphere was serene and very pleasant from the beginning, which had a lot to do with our cook. She was so friendly, helpful and super nice. The shared food and conversations were absolutely casual and serene. I recommend everyone who is on holiday in Koh Lanta to take a cooking class at Lanta Thai cookingclass.

Fun & informative cooking class - Fun & informative cooking class! The teacher and staff were extremely helpful. Nice options to choose from, although would have liked Phad Thai as an option. Great ingredients though- very fresh & locally sourced. You choose 4 dishes as a group which was a little surprising since we were paired with a larger group. We worked it out though. Also, in the group there were vegetarians and some with allergens and they were extremely accommodating to all providing great suggestions for options. A fun way to spend an evening. Prepared to be full and takeaway for later enjoyment!

Best cooking school, hilarious teacher! - The best cooking class! Our teacher was so funny and made the whole class a bundle of laughs. There was a large group with couples, a family and solo travellers. The class suited everyone. We picked four dishes to make as a group and were given a cook book to take home. As part of the class we went to the local market and collected the ingredients which was great! The dishes we made and ate throughout the class but there was so much food left over we took home the left overs of each course. Overall a great experience and way to spend the day. Would 100% recommend for anyone in Koh Lanta!

Absolutely brilliant - This was so much fun and so well organised and run! Booked tickets and then we were contacted by the cookery school to check for allergies and finalise collection. Picked up on time and straight to the cooking school. Prim was our cookery teacher and she was fabulous! Lots of tips on how to change our dishes to have them as we wanted as well as ingredients we could use at home if Thai ingredients are not available. The cook book is yours to keep which is brilliant. Cooked and ate our 4 dishes which were delicious - thanks to Prims expert guidance. Beer available to buy during the session. We could take our left over food away with us too. All in all, brilliantly well run, organised and taught. 100% recommended.

Great experience - We phoned around quite a few cookery schools and settled on this one as it was one of the only ones that would accept children. We were a group of five with three kids. The morning started with a short walk down to the local market to learn about the local produce and buy some bits. After that we made four dishes, of our choice from a larger selection, and all very tasty and easy to follow. The school also provided pick up and drop off from our accommodation with was very useful. Highly recommended.
