Imagine the life of a samurai during the Edo period (1603-1868)! - Hiyodori Hill - Only a 1-minute walk away, discover a serene path through a bamboo forest, largely unchanged since the Edo period.
Stroll along this picturesque lane, once used by samurai 200 years ago to travel to and from Sakura castle. It’s an ideal spot for capturing beautiful photos!
- Sakura Museum - A short walk will lead you to a Japanese confectionery, Kimuraya Zorokumochi Honpo, at 222-1 Shinmachi, Sakura Chiba prefecture, near the Sakura Museum. Choose your Wagashi to enjoy with matcha or green tea at the Millennium Center or the shop. Note that the Sakura Museum itself is not part of the visit.
- Millennium Center Sakura - A 7-minute walk brings you back to the Millennium Center, where you can change out of your costumes. Enjoy Wagashi with Matcha if you haven’t already had tea at the Japanese confectionery.
