Don't miss this tour! - We had a fantastic tour with Jon. He was extremely knowledgeable and the level of detail he provided was amazing. He picked us up promptly at 8:30am and dropped us off at 6pm. The tour began at Sainte-Mère-Église, moved to Utah Beach and then to Pointe Du Hoc. We then visited the American Cemetery with plenty of time to walk around and still attend the flag-lowering ceremony, which was quite moving. Our final stop was at Omaha Beach. There is so much to see and so much history in Normandy that a private tour is well worth it. I would highly recommend this tour with Jon.

Amazing full day tour of D-Day sites for our family! - This was the best tour our family has ever had. Jon was prompt, very well versed in the area and history, and was flexible enough to make the day interesting for our entire family (including kids ages 7, 11, and 13). I cannot recommend him enough.

Once in a lifetime experience - Jon Fletcher is phenomenal! He went above and beyond on our private tour to find my Uncle's grave in the American Cemetery. He is extremely knowledgeable about World War II history. He researched the journey of my Uncle's division and found the exact location where he was killed in Auxais. He arranged for us to meet with local historians and dignitaries of this town and took us to the town's memorial to the lives lost in the 83rd division. The visit to the cemetery included even more special moments. The all day tour also included visits to Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and St. Mère Église. His attention to detail made this an unforgettable experience. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Jon.

Great FULL day tour with knowledgeable guide. - Jon was fantastic! He gave a very thorough tour and answered all of our questions. We went to Saint Mère, Utah beach, some monuments, Omaha beach, and the American cemetery (he got us there in time to see the flag ceremony and ensured that we were in the perfect viewing spot).

A day to remember. - I have wanted to see the D-Day beaches and memorials since I was a young boy, and this tour did not disappoint. We spent the entire day with Jon as he showed us 5 of the primary sights, concluding with the emotional flag lowering ceremony at the US cemetery. At each sight and during our travel time in between, he filled us in on the background of the war, the strategies, the tactics and some of the key individuals involved. His narrative was easy to follow, helped to bring us back to that era, made each sight come alive, and included fascinating stories of many of the individual heroes without overwhelming us with a lot of technical jargon. Jon has deep knowledge and was able to answer fully every question we posed. Jon clearly has a passion for his job, a heart for this historic event and great respect for this hallowed ground. It was an added bonus that he was of English descent but raised in Normandy, combining very clear spoken English with roots in the culture and history of the region. The tour was very easy to book online, his communication was prompt and responsive, the price was competitive with other full-day tours, and we were provided with timely door-to-door pick up and delivery service from our hotel in a very nice van.

Brings the war to life - Jon was an outstanding guide for our party of 4. Only one of us were WW II aficionados. Jon made the tour a delight for all of us. The timings were perfect, the stories were personal, and the day flew by! He brought the landings to life in a way that we will not soon forget. He obviously LOVES sharing his vast knowledge. He shared stories about folks who came from the places we live which added a great incentive for us to learn more when we return home.
